[Queen Hydra]

Orangecloud's green-brown eyes drifted to Forestlight as the other she-cat padded into the nursery. She watched her go in and disappear. The queen sighed and went back to staring at the fog. Is she expecting kits? She must, to be in the nursery. She wanted to ask, but she wouldn't.

Pumpkinkit's bright green eyes slowly opened, waking from her grassy dream. She laid there for a few moments, in that stage halfway between sleep and wake. It took her forever to get out of that every morning. Slowly she came around, and pushed herself to her paws. She looked around. The first thing she noticed was her mother was gone. She perked here little ears, instantly alert. Pumpkinkit noticed another cat in here- she'd seen her a few times. Maybe she new where mama was? She jumped out of her nest and padded over to the brown she-cat. "Hi" She meowed, her voice small, eyes bright. "Do you know where mama is?"

Voidclaw waved his tail, still laid high above the camp. He was enjoying the early morning sunlight, for it would soon be gone. He'd soon have to get to his duties. He sighed and closed his silver eyes. He gazed lazily down, wondering if today would be like yesterday, or not. The days didn't vary much usually, not here. Not sense the other Clans disappeared.

Forestlight smiled softly at the small kit, "I believe I saw her outside" She said gently. She loved kits, she missed Moonstreak ever so much, he was always such a cute kit, with his grey fur and white stripe. She missed him alot more then anything. Forestlight glanced back down at Pumpkinkit before glancing outside again, she wasn't made to be a warrior, but she wondered as a Queen could she make her mother proud?

"Okay, thank you." Pumpkinkit said, dipping her head. She always remembered to respect those older than her. She smiled at the older cat shyly. "Are you gona have kittens, to?" She asked, not sure if that was an okay question to ask or not. It would be nice to have someone to play with. She'd been the only one in the nursery sense she came here.

Forestlight blushed at the question, under her thick beautiful brown fur it went unnoticed. "I-I don't know" She said softly, "I would love to" She meowed quietly, she really did want kittens, she just loved them, "But.. I don't have a mate" She said sheepishly.

"I thought nurseries were only for kittens and their mothers." Pumpkinkit tilted her head. She shrugged. Many Clan things didn't make much sense to her, but she just went along with them. Maybe the nursery was for kits and cats who wanted kits? She nodded. That wounded reasonable. "You have pretty fur." She commented, then smiled again and padded out of the nursery to her mother. "Mama!" She bound over to the older she-cat and pressed against her.
Orangecloud looked at her daughter and smiled slightly. She licked the kit's head. "Morning, Pumpkin." She purred softly in greeting.

Reedpaw's dark eyes opened quickly. He blinked a few times, then with a yawn, he stretched. He was small, and even stretching, he didn't take up his whole nest. He got to his paws and shook himself, then padded out of the den. He shivered. It was cold. At least, for him it was. He was very tempted to retreat back to his nest, but he couldn't do that. At least it wasn't as cold as leafbare. He winced at memories of ice and freezing wind. The little tom shook his head, ridding his mind of the images, and bound forward. Nothing like getting your blood pumping to warm a cat up.

Iceheart fetected the icy tone in her voice but dismissed it with a flick of her tail. She pawed at the ground before brighting up a bit. "Say, why don't we go and do some training? You can decide weather to do hunting of fighting skills, because I'm up for both and frankly, I don't feel like going on patrol, it's too early for those kinds of things" she said a twinkle lighting her eyes. She wanted to be friends with her apprentice or at least were they can trust each other.

Firestorm padded out of the elders den "Where did the tom run off too.?" he failed to notice Reedpaw walking out of the apprentices den and he also failed to check in the den. He headed of towards the nursery he stopped and said a greeting to Orangecloud, "Good morning" he said lightly and smiled down at Pumpkinkit, amusement in his eyes.

Orangecloud gave Pumpkinkit's head another lick, then looked up to see who had come. In truth, she was always nervous when these warriors approached her- they were powerful and had something to live for. In a word, it was intimidating. She flattened her ears slightly and took in who had come. It was Firestorm- the deputy. "Good morning." She responded to the tom.
Pumpkinkit padded forward a few steps and looked up at the deputy. "Hi!" She greeted, bright eyes shining even brighter in the morning light.

Reedpaw ran to the freshkill pile, but he didn't take anything out, no- he was supposed to make sure the queens were fed before he could eat, just like the other apprentices. He ran around the pile, and eventually, back to the apprentice den. After darting around for a few minutes, he was warmer. The chill was still nipping at him, but he was used to it. Unfortunately.

Voidstar got to his paws and stretched, then jumped down from highrock. It was a bit of a jump- the rock was quite high. But he'd made it dozens of times and had no problem landing carefully on his paws. He glanced around. Once more cats woke, he'd have to send out a hunting patrol. Prey was only just starting to come out of hiding, and despite the slightly warmer weather, it was still fairly hard to find food. The more patrols, the better.

Firestorm flicked the tip of his tail and an ear as he saw Orangecloud's ers lay flat for a moment. He was distracted as Pumpkinkit came up to him. "Hi, your name's pumpkinkit right?" he asked sitting down slightly. He was still wondering if he had come up to Orangecloud at the wrong moment but he dismissed it for a moment.

Orangecloud looked at the ground, listening to the deputy and her daughter talk.
Pumpkinkit nodded. "Like a pumpkin!" She meowed. She had trouble saying the word 'pumpkin'. It came out more like 'punkin'. "Have you ever seen one of those? I haven't. Mama says they are great big orange things with vines." She purred. She talked quickly, but most of her words were clipped short.
