Bee giggled happily before following Mist to the entrance of the cave, standing next to her and looking at the ground and streams below the entrance to the tribe's home. A purr rumbled deep in her chest as she stood there, the wind tugging at her short fur. "I love it here." She mewed. "I can't imagine what the old home was like."

Mist nodded and opened her eyes. "Ma use to tell me stories of it... She said that her favorite part of our old home was the beautiful sunsets and the mist near a far away forest... Heh heh, hence my name..." Mist smiled sadly thinking of her deceased mother and watched the ground below the small cliff like edge they were sitting on.

Lily is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile the hunters recently caught, savoring the delicious taste. She scans around the clearing, wondering who was up and about this morning. She hopes some cave-guards and other hunters are up so they can go hunting.

Frog dips her head in return to Talon. "Salutations." She smiles, then sits, watching the two apprentices playfight. "They'll be good at taking down large hares one day," she muses, half to herself, half to the nearby tom. The old camp was very nice.. until Fire left, and the twolegs burned it to the ground.

Mouse rolls onto her back, boredly batting at the ceiling with her paws. She wanted to do something, but she didn't know what.

Bee looked at Mist sadly, pressing against her fellow to-be's side. "You'll see her again one day." She mewed, trying to comfort the she-cat. She looked over her shoulder to where Frog and Talon were sitting.

"Now can we go?" She laughed.


Hiss shrugged. "Things like this take time." He mewed to Moss as he got to his paws, leading her past Bee, Mist, Frog and Talon and out of the camp, easily jumping down onto the nearest rock outside of the entrance to the cave. He paused to let Moss catch up before he continued his descent to an open space where the guards usually trained.


Sunteller left her den at the back of the cave, walking slowly among her tribe-mates, talking to each one a little bit before moving on to the next. She flicked her tail slightly when she heard a few of her tribe-mates gossiping about how she hadn't picked a to-be for herself yet. I will pick one in time... She thought to herself, a little irritated.

The dark brown, ginger and white tabby stopped next to Lily. "Good morning, Lily. I trust you're doing well?"

With almost all the to-be's being taken for training, there was less of a chance he would be needed to keep an eye out. Sage's ear twitched after realizing Thyme was still speaking to Petal, and he instead set himself down just outside in the cave entrance. Laying to one side so there was easily still room to enter and exit, the tom's tail tip flicked back and forth idly as he watched the surroundings. Less actual guarding and more simply wasting time while looking as if he were doing something productive.

"That's the important question, isn't it?" Thyme asked softly. "I doubt wondering about it will help, however. What happened... happened, and we'll never find out how things truly would be, will we?" He noted finally, his eyes flickering back to Petal before finding Sage across the cave.

Sunteller talked with Lily for a few moments longer before walking to the center of the cave, climbing up onto a large rock that resided there. "My tribe-mates gather with me, I have news to share." She mewed. Out of the past tribe healers, Sunteller's calling was different. The past healers usually used the same calling for many seasons. Sunteller believed that since they were in a new home, she should make a new calling.

The dark brown, ginger and white tabby watched her tribe-mates as they gathered, nodding to a few as she made eye contact with them. "As many of you have noticed, I haven't taken a to-be yet. Many healers before me chose a to-be in the first litter that was born after they took over, but I hadn't found the one I felt was right. Our ancestors, the Tribe of Endless Hunting, have sent me an omen. They agree with the cat I have chosen to follow in my paw steps."

Her dark green gaze roamed over the tribe cats before landing on Mouse. "I have chosen Mouse Chewing Sunflower Seeds as the healer to-be." She called.

Horizon gasped, looking down at her daughter. "Go on!" She squeaked excitedly to Mouse, nudging her towards Sunteller. "Touch noses with her to show her you accept."

Mist nodded and sighed. "I know, but I miss her so much.... I hope she's protecting me from up there..." Mist tilted her head up to the beautiful sky and sighed. She padded over to her mentor, Frog, and sat down next to the she-cat watching Sunteller. Mouse is the next Sunteller? Well Bee should be happy! Mist smiled thoughtfully.

Lily listens carefully to Sunteller sharing news of her new to-be and that would be Mouse Chewing Sunflower Seeds. She knows Mouse will be a great future Sunteller when it is her time to lead the tribe. She glances at Mouse and smiles, a purr rising from her throat. "Congratulations Mouse!" she said warmly.

before he could respond to bee's pleading to go, he turns his attention to sunteller as she announced the new healer to-be. he was rather surprised, hearing that it was mouse that was chosen. for a moment, he glances towards his to-be, wondering how she felt about it. after all, mouse was her sister. "we may leave once we are sure sunteller is done speaking." he says with a flick of his tail, glancing towards his sister for a moment before turning his attention to the cats around him

"as long as there's not a repeat of that incident. i love all of our tribe mates." she murmurs, flickering her gaze towards sunteller as she announced mouse as her healer to-be. letting out a soft purr, she glances towards her brother's to-be, bee. "i wonder if her sister's are proud." she wonders aloud, returning her gaze towards mouse as she bounded over to sunteller
