skypaw was not one to wake up early but this morning was an exception. after a good stretch, yawn and get the pale gray fur in order after a long night's sleep, the apprentice exited the den belonging to them. the she cat missed the warmth of the sun, bathing her pelt, to lay under the rays. those were the relaxing days of emberclan that skypaw loved above all. she noticed breezepaw sitting in one corner, and smirked for herself. she bounced over to the tom, energetic as ever. hey! do you know what we're doing today? i hope not hunting, i'm as loud as a badger!

Breezepaw
"Oh hello Skypaw" Breezepaw greeted. "I'm sorry, I don't know what we are doing today. I'm hoping we are battle training" the tom meowed. Breezepaw always loved battle training, it was one of his favorite things to do.

Ivystorm slipped out of camp, going to check the borders and maybe catch something to eat too. Pricking her ears, she heard the sound of a birdcall. Dropping into a crouch, she snuck up on her prey. She licked her lips, about to pounce, when another scent caught on the wind. Intruder! She jumped up, hissing in frustration as she scared off the bird. She turned and scented the air...it smelled like twoleg and cat. Crouching low, she went to investigate.

skypaw was about to answer but a gleam of mischief shone in her frost blue eyes. their mentors had not appeared yet anywhere and the urges to do something fun were eating her alive. hey, what if we go to twoleg territory? someone once told me, i don't know who, but someone told me that they have these giant monsters... i am never allowed there, i've only seen it twice and from afar. we could actually get close to one! skypaw mentioned to breezepaw in a low whisper. pleeaaaaaaseeee? she asked, opening her eyes wide, begging.

Callie
Callie glanced back toward her home. She was debating on going back but then decided against it, wanting to explore for a bit longer. Callie began padding further into the forest, her purple bell collar jingling as she padded forward. The she-cat thought she had smelled different smells but she figured it was just the forest.

Breezepaw
Breezepaw shifted his weight nervously. "I.. I don't know Skypaw..." Breezepaw began. He was always nervous about twolegs and monsters, especially because of all the stories about cats getting hurt by monsters. Then again, Breezepaw was always curious about what they were like. "You know what, lets go" the tom finally decided.

skypaw was about to convince breezepaw with her super talents before he agreed. the she cat's eyes lit up and she bounced with excitement about what they were going to do next. we're going... er, hunting! the fresh kill pile needs more prey! the pale apprentice called out to no one in particular, just so nobody asked where the two of them were heading. she padded to the entrance of camp before looking back at breezepaw. come on!

Ivystorm paused as her well-trained ears picked up the loud jingle of a bell. Her fur fluffing up to twice her side, she slid silently through the forest until she found the source of the noise. She almost hissed right away. A kittypet! On their territory! She decided to stay hidden only a moment longer, and then stepped out of the shadows to confront the stranger, her back arched.

Ravenberry twitched his ears and nodded at the apprentices from a distance. Hunting will be good practice for them, and the clan hasn't had trouble in the forest for moons; they'll be fine.

Breezepaw
Breezepaw bounded after Skypaw, now feeling a sense of excitement and thrill. He hadn't snuck around like this since he was a kit. Breezepaw smiled as he fell into step with Skypaw.

Callie
Callie heard something as she walked through the woods. Instantly, images of scary monster cats flashed in her mind. She turned back and thought she saw something approaching: Quickly, Callie bolted further into the woods, away from the noise she heard. Callie ran as fast as she could, hoping it was nothing.
