The young tom smiled at his mentor. "You better believe it! Will it be okay if I go on the dawn patrol?" He asks with his eyes gleaming.

The apprentice nods before running up to Wolfclaw. "Wolfclaw, can I please go?" She asks, hopping around.

~Wolfclaw~

He turns to his apprentice. "Yes you may go." He purrs amused, smiling back at his apprentice.

Applesong tilted her head and let out a small hum. She had already made her decision but she couldn't help but tease the eager apprentice. "I suppose." She told him after figuring she made him wait for an adequate amount of time.

Willowpelt~Deputy~Shecat~27 Moons~Apprentice: Sunpaw

Willowpelt nodded approvingly at her apprentice. Sunpaw was a excellent apprentice, she always had the energy to learn and certanly had learned a lot. If only she was a little more patient! Willowpelt looked at Sunpaw. "We will see. But first, show me your hunter's crouch.", she ordered, ears perked forward. Willowpelt's voice was like the voice of a soothing mother when she spoke to Sunpaw.

The apprentice thanks her mentor before turning towards Sunpaw. She froze in place. 'Oh no... this feeling again.' She thinks before turning away from Sunpaw, her pelt felt hot. She shakes her fur before taking a deep breathe. 'I have to keep these feelings to myself...' she thinks with a frown.

The male nods at Whitepaw before approaching Crowstar. "Greetings Crowstar. How did you sleep?" He asks, dipping his head respectfully to his leader.

The tom smiles. "Thanks Applesong! You're the best!" He announces with a silly grin that was plastered across his face.

Sunpaw I Female I 9 moons I Crush: Open I Mentor: Willowpelt

Sunpaw gave a smirk and took the formation. It was pretty good for an apprentice her age. She had been practicing a lot, particularly while she was stuck in camp. A few times she even practiced when everyone else was asleep. Of course there were still some mistakes. Her tail was too high and she was a bit stiff, for example.

Applesong just nodded and smiled. She had enjoyed being a mentor more than she thought she would. It would be bittersweet in a couple moons, when he no longer needed her. Still, she would be excited for him. The she-cat remembered how she felt when she became a warrior.

He let's out a purr. He tilts his head before shaking his fur. "Want to come with me and Whitepaw?" He asks, flicking his tail towards a now saddened Whitepaw.

The female let a soft sigh. 'Why bother.. She probably like Tigerpaw not me.. especially since he's a tom not she-cat.' she thinks frowning to herself.

The she-cat sighs before grooming her ruffled pelt.

Willowpelt's tail brush onto Sunpaw's tail, making it lower down. "Don't be so tense, and try to keep your paws straight.", she purred in a cooing voice. "I don't remember training you to catch rabbits before... Might as well give you some tips!", she purred. "Get as close as you can to the rabbit, then thrust yourself forward and chase it down!", she hissed at the end, her claws digging into the dirt as if killing a rabbit.

Sunpaw I Female I 9 moons I Crush: Open I Mentor: Willowpelt

Sunpaw made a mental note of the critiques Willowpelt made of her hunter's crouch. The young apprentice purred, her mentor's soothing voice made her want to improve rather than be discouraged for not doing things perfectly. With eyes as wide as a owls she listened to Willowpelt describe how to catch rabbits. Rabbits were her favorite after all! She then picked a spot ahead of her and pretended like it was a rabbit. She tried to remember what Willowpelt said and got close to the 'rabbit' and then thrusted herself forward and pretended to have a small chase before pretending to kill it. "Like that?" She asked expectantly, noting in the corner of her eyes was Whitepaw. Her face changed to one of concern when she saw how sad she looked.

Applesong listened as TIgerpaw posed the question. "I would be glad to." She said with a purr before approached Whitepaw. She didn't know the apprentice very well but she could tell something was wrong. "Is everything all right?" She asked the young she-cat, letting her decide is she wanted to tell Applesong or not.

Willowpelt nodded, then padded forward to Sunpaw. "You are a very skilled hunter. I have noticed that you are hunting better than the other apprentices!" She licked Sunpaw behind the ear in praise. "We should be leaving soon for the dawn patrol.", she mumbled, her head going up, tail flicking for the apprentices and their mentors to come. "Wait here.", she hisses under her breath, stepping into the warrior's den. "Rushwing?", she meows, tail flicking.

The apprentice looked up at the warrior, her gaze full of sorrow. "It's nothing that important. D-don't worry about it." She says softly before casting her blue gaze downwards towards the ground. She was debating with herself whether or not to tell Applesong what was wrong.

~Tigerpaw~

The male frowns as he looks at Whitepaw. He decides to stay silent, not wanting to mess up anything.
