Gathering Thread "The Four Clans"

Hawkwing smiled back down at Rosefeather to assure her that she had no reason to be nervous before returning his attention to the leaders

Nightpaw shuffled his paws. He wished he had time to talk to his leader before arriving. He had to warn the clans about the sick deer.

She leaned forward. "In StormClan, a lot has happened this past moon. Hornetclaw, our past deputy, passed away. Rowanheart is the new deputy. Starlingfeather, our medicine cat, passed away. Beetlenose is the new medicine cat, but she is sick and sadly couldn't come. Her new apprentice is Fadedecho. Blazefeather joined the Clan. He used to be a kittypet, but he proved himself a true born warrior when he defeated one of our best warriors in battle. Fawnstep had some kits, but she passed away and two of her kits died at birth. Fawnkit was adopted by Deerwing. Three other kits were found on the territory, Gingerkit, Silverkit, and Flowerkit. Deerwing also adopted them. There were some foxes and coyotes on our territory, but we chased them away. LakeClan, you might want to watch out. Falconkit, Eaglekit, Hawkkit, Maplekit, and Thornkit became apprentices. Owlpaw became a warrior, now Owlwing. The other Owlpaw became a warrior, Owlfeather. Lots of cats have developed new mates, like me. Skybouncs is my new mate." she finished, sitting back down on the branch and wrapping her silver tabby tail neatly around her paws.

Sunstar smiled. "Congradulations, and thank you for the warning." he glanced down, something catching his eye. "Nightpaw? Is there something that you need to say?" he asked quietly, so only a few could hear.

Foxfall listened to the leaders talk about the clans but he especially listened to what Swiftstar said. Thats a lot of news Foxfall thought and let his fluffy tail stray on the ground. Foxfall looked at all the cats at the gathering and looked back at the leaders.

"Yes..." The apprentice said looking at sunsysr with big eyes, "shadepaw ate a deer carcass and fell ill. I fear the deer was sick and that it might spread o the clans." He said in a hushed tone.

Sunstar nodded. "Alright," he said, standing again. "It has just come to my attention, that one of our apprentices found a deer carcass and became ill. I would advise anyone to stay away from any deer who comes around." He announced. "At least those who have any sense in them..." he added, softly that only him and Swiftstar could hear.

Swiftstar's eyes widened. That wasn't good news. She looked at Sunstar. "The sickness... it could spread..." She whispered in worry.

Sunstar nodded. "I know. I hope that Shadedpaw was just acting rash, and it won't spread." he said softly before turning back to the clans. "Dismissed!" he called, letting the cats have some free time before they left.

Rosefeather dipped her head to Hawkwing before standing, and walking around the other cats, saying hello to a few she recognised.

The tom tlanced around. "I guess," he said after the gathering. He looked around, eyes landing on each cat. "I'm not very friendly, that is true."

He got up and politely excused himself from Skybounce. He walked over to Rosefeather. "Hello, what's your name? I'm Blazefeather." he introduced himself with a friendly smile.
