Swanfeather

Swanfeather awoke slowly, giving a long stretch. Her eyes blinked, reflecting the early dawn light filtering into her den.
Sniffing her herb stock and tasting the air, she confirmed leaf-fall was just around the corner, and with it the loss of precious herbs. Quickly peering around the camp, she confirmed no other cat was yet awake, so she had no one to tell of her destination. I'll tell them when I return; there is no reason to awake Dawnstar or any of the others. It will not be difficult to tell where I have gone, she thought to herself.
Stopping only to give herself a quick groom, Swanfeather padded out of the mossy hollow RainClan called home and into the surrounding rainforest. The rainforest was slowly giving way to daylight, and the creatures that inhabited the night were disappearing. Giving a sigh of contentment, she walked further into the forest, searching for the herbs she needed.
There were no Twoleg Places close by to collect catmint from, but it grew in a certain place in the rainforest. There was also its counterpart, chickweed, but catmint was preferred to treat greencough and occasionally whitecough.
Approaching the place, she was pleased to see the catmint was still fresh, and sat down to collect the scented plants.
