Ravenflame padded through the forest. He scented the air for prey, but he scented something weird. A cat... obviously not Mistclan he thought. He slowly followed the scent and noticed a shecat standing in the forest.

Smoky smelled a weird scent, she had never smelled it before but she soon guessed that it was from the clan. She sighed, deciding that she should've probably left before she get caught. Though when she turned to leave she saw a tom standing there that carried the strange scent. Her eyes went wide and she took a few steps back, afraid of him attacking her.

He hissed and leaped at her and pinned her "What are you doing on Mistclan territory?" He asked with a snarl.

Smoky was taken by surprise when she was pushed back onto the ground and pinned down there. As he hissed at her and asked her why she was on the clan's territory, she was really confused. Afterwards, stuttering out "I-I didn't know th-that the clans had t-territories," her tone showing complete fear. She didn't really care if she sounded weak at that point, she just wanted to be let go.

Ravenflame noticed the fear in her tone and he loosened his grip "Well we do, and your on ours." He hissed and after he calmed down he softened his tone "Please just leave, someone else could rip your pelt off just for being here."

Smoky nodded, getting up after he had loosened his grip and taking a few more steps back. She then mewed, "I-I don't live anywhere near her, I was just wandering...." she admitted. She didn't really live very close to the spot that she was at at that moment, she just often liked to wander and explore the forest.

Ravenflame looked around "Follow me" He whispered through clenched teeth. Ravenflame padded through the forest till they got to a cave that dipped down into a dry comfortable hollow. "You can stay here, not many cats come out here so it should be safe."

Smoky sighed but hesitantly followed him throughout the forest and to a cave. She looked over at him, "o-oh, alright; thanks" she mewed quietly.

Ravenflame gave her a small smile. He barely ever smiled so this was rare. "Your welcome, just speak up a little, i won't hurt you."
