Flintpaw grumbled in annoyance as it stormed outside, the black tom's bulky figure blending in with the gloom of the apprentices den. He laid in his nest, his amber eyes scanning around him and looking at the shapes of the other apprentices, who were sleeping. He sighed in boredom as he thought, dumb rain. He laid his head down in the moss but didn't fall asleep; instead, he started to claw at the bedding. He winced as it thundered outside, and he peeked through the brambles to see the dark gray sky was being lit up by lightning. He huffed, "great." A perfect way to start the day; a storm. He wanted to go outside and train, to patrol and hunt!

Specklepaw Hissed in annoyance as the Thunder woke her up.
"Great starclan! Next thing you know there'll be an earth-quake!" She meowed irritably.
The ground rumbled under her paws as lightning struck across the sky oncemore.
She leaped to her paws and took a chance while she had it.
She bounded across the clearing only to slip in a puddle of mud and get stuck.
"H-h-HELP!" She shrieked as the thunder and wind picked up.

Flintpaw hissed as he watched Specklepaw run out, "mouse-brain!" He peeked his head from the entrance to see she slipped in a pile of mud and got stuck. He rolled his eyes to himself but knew he had to help her. Well, did he? Of course not; but it would be good to earn trust out of the Clan, due to being born a rogue. He then bounded from the den, but quickly was sent rolling over by the fierce wind. He huffed as mud splattered into his muzzle, and with a hiss of annoyance, he propped himself up. He made his way over to the other apprentice with some difficulty, due to the blinding wind, rumbling thunder, and pouring rain. He raised his voice against the wind to Specklepaw, "calm down!" She'll never get unstuck from the mud if she kept on panicking.

Dawnpelt heard crys of help and bounded over to see flintpaw and specklepaw, and specklepaw was stuck in mud.

Specklepaw still struggled in the mud as Flintpaw helped her out of the mud.
"Great starclan help us!" She shrieked against the wind, hoping she would get out of the thick, cold mud.
Thunder rumbled oncemore, and the ground rumbled beneath them.
"Hurry and help me, please!" She shrieked in panic.

Dawnpelt helped pull him out by grabbing him by the scruf and pulled.

Flintpaw frowned but with the help of Dawnpelt, pulled Specklepaw from the mud. He panted and glanced up at the dark sky, digging his claws into the earth so the fierce wind didn't knock him over.

Dawnpelt looked over Specklepaw,"Just wet and cold...Take her to the apprentice den."She said half to herself and half to Flintpaw.
