Dustpaw decided to sit down next to Birchfire. She gazed down at the kits,I wonder what my kits will look like when I'll be a queen. Dustpaw thought.

Echochance lay down across from Birchfire, still providing space for the kits that are trying to hobble around on their new legs.
She said "I remember when I was about your age Dustpaw, I wanted to be a queen, the StarClan gave me a higher calling, to be a leader. Sometimes it just makes me wonder what's in store for our kits." She stood up and stretched the tiredness from her muscles and squeezed herself out the tiny entrance.

Dustpaw smiled at Echochance,Dustpaw considered her as a sister. Though,a sudden yawn escaped Dustpaw's jaws. ''I better go and rest,I'm really tired.'' She murmured as she got up. She dipped her head respectfully at Birchfire,and made her way to the apprentices den,her tail swaying side to side.

another apprentice, a she cat, Frostedtail, a beautiful all white cat with grey stripes on her face, walked up to Dustpaw and flicked her tail to say hello, she stopped and said "Did you see the new kits yet?" I'm on my way there now."

Dustpaw stopped as she saw the other apprentice. ''Oh.'' She murmured,then instantly she shook her head,and said ''Yes I-I was there,they're very beautiful.'' She said.

"Are you ok Dustpaw?" said Frostedtail a little concerned, " Maybe you should go see Mistleaf if you don't feel good? she suggested.

Dustpaw refused instantly ''Ah,no no no! I'm f-fine." Dustpaw said,worry hung like a rock on Dustpaw's stomach,Should I just interrupt the conversation and go to the Apprentice den or..No no,ah I don't know..

"Ok, well, see you later then!" Said Frostedtail skipping gayly away.
Echochance was walking past Dustpaw when she saw a little worry look on her face, "Is something wrong Dustpaw?" Said Echochance, she wore the look of worry.

Dustpaw's gaze darted over to Echochance ''No,I-I'm fine..'' Dustpaw said as a weak smile of hers flashed. Her tail hung low and sweeped the dusty ground ''I j-just need some rest,nothing else.'' Dustpaw said uncomfortably.

"Ok, well, some fresh kill will be ready later, I'll save you some if you don't wake up by then" said Echochance as she continued walking towards the elders den.
