Birdpaw shoved yew back into place. "We've got so much Yew! It won't stay on the shelf!"

IvyPaw sat impatiently, hoping she would be able to go on a patrol. Lately, she had been doing a lot of battle trading, and wanted to take a break from that with a patrol.

Owlfeather walked around the camp looking for something to do or someone to talk to.

Stripepaw stretched and blinked his green eyes at the camp.

Hawkflight looked down at her. "You'll get a chance. If you don't get to go, we'll skip battle training and do extra hunting later."

Cloudstar padded out of her den, begining to announce the patrols. "Hawkflight, Owlflight, Ivypaw, and Rustfang for the border patrol."

IvyPaw smiled, relieved when her mentor told her that they would take a break from battle practice if they didn't go on patrol. She smiled even brighter when the patrol was chosen, happy that she could go.

Hawkflight stood up. "Who to lead?" He asked. He flicked his tail at Ivypaw.

Owlfeather got up and smiled, "Alright." She meowed bounding towards the leader.

Stripepaw padded around camp.

IvyPaw stood up, almost bouncing up and down excitedly. She loved going on border patrols, and had only been on a few before.
