Shadepelt finished the mouse in about three bites. He swiped his tongue over his jaws. Shadepelt saw Littlepaw and Greyleaf talking about gathering herbs and Frostclaw taking Willowheart and Stormpaw hunting. He padded up to Willowheart. "Hi, Willowheart! Is it alright if I go hunting with you?" He asked, flicking his tail.

Littlepaw - Med. App. - 9 Moons

Littlepaw stared up at his mentor. It always amazed him that he wasn't the only smaller looking cat. Though he still had some time to grow. He feared he wouldn't get much bigger than his mentor. With a purr, he got up to his paws and flicked his tail. "Good Morning, Greyleaf. Are we going to go herb hunting today? Or are we staying in the camp again?"

"Well..I, uh..." He looked over to the piles of herbs; they had diminished significantly over the leaf-bare. "That is...well, we might as well go. L-leaf-bare being unkind with the plants, and all that." The frost had damaged a lot of their crop, resulting in many withered excuses for herbs ending up in the den, and crumbling far faster than Greyleaf would have liked.

Birdpaw opened her eyes and looked around and purred, Beautiful... she thought to herself before padding over to Frostclaw "Can I come?" She asked and hoped it would feel new and fresh unlike Leaf-bare.

Frostclaw-Warrior-Single

Frostclaw turned to the source of the voice, Birdpaw. "Um... well... I guess..." She answered shyly. All these cats were talking to her, it was starting to freak her out.

"Yes!" Birdpaw shouted and rubbed Frostclaw "I hope you are deputy!" She purred "Your the best mentor ever!" She then mewed.

Frostclaw lowered her head and stared at the blackness. Birdpaw... Why couldn't she understand? Being deputy was a dream far out of her reach. No one would accept her, she stood out. If she was deputy... Well, she wouldn't be.

"What's wrong?" Birdpaw asked then hissed "Nobody likes me! I just make everyone sad!" She growled to herself.

Caveclaw padded out of the warriors den and yawned, smiling at the bustling clanmates around him in the auburn lighting.

Willowheart nudged Birdpaw with her nose, purring. "That isn't true. Frostclaw would make a good deputy. That is something that Jaystar would have to choose though. You have to understand, your mentor has a disadvantage that you do not. However, her disadvantage can also be a great strength." She turned to look at Frostclaw. A tail resting on her shoulder.

"Yeah, we really need to find more. You can teach me more of them while we're out there. There might be some you hadn't gotten to show me yet." He padded out of the den in excitement. Finally they would be going outside the camp again.
