Flinn lay a few feet away from the other kits, letting them play. While, Flinn was rambunctious and playful as well..he just was not feeling that way. The kit swung his tail lightly back and forth and his ears twitched at every little sound. From the trees swaying to the laughter of the other kits.

Kaiya hid behind some tall grass as she saw her brother, Flinn, in front of her. minding his own business. she slowly krept forward and sprang out of the grass and on her brothers back. She gnawed on his ear letting out a playful growl as she softly gnawed on his ear and a wrapped her font legs around his back

Mahogany saw the vole and immediately crouched down. She creeped forward, her eyes narrowing and trying not to make a sound. Then, after she got close enough, she darted in and swiftly killed the vole.

Felix emerged from the taller grass clearly prideful and victorious, three mice swinging from his teeth by their tails. A good hunt, at last! A pleased sigh escaped him before he sniffed curiously at the air, to see what other prey was about, and smelled something even more unfamiliar -- a Kayrah he didn't know. Sniffing a bit more, he moved toward the border, and saw a lone female (Karii) marching along the border like she knew where the line was, and was determined to draw attention without crossing it. "Hello?" He asked curiously, setting the mice at his paws for a moment and tilting his head slightly to the side as he studied her.

Bored, Zaki looked around and spotted another kit (Flinn) lying in the grass. He moved a little closer and sat beside him, not knowing any of the other kits well.

Meetrin giggled, her paws moving smoothly over the rough bark of the tree. This'll be fun... she smirked to herself. She was feeling confident today and was certain she could snatch a piece of prey from one of the Tribe's hunting patrols or even more daring, from their camp. She was certain she could do this, but it might end badly for her. She knew that, but didn't care.
(Maybe one of the other loners could see her and try and talk her out of it. I dunno. Meetrin's open, though. C: )

Javelin yawned, stretching out as he passed a small pile of leaves. He was patrolling the boarder alone, hoping he might could catch something along the way. Anything would be welcome, he was certain of that.

Karii turned her ears towards the stranger's voice. Good. This one will be gullible. she thought with sheer pleasure. She lowered her ears and dropped her stance, making her appear afraid. She gave a small, fake gasp and spun around. "H-hello?" she responded, her voice sounding small and afraid, but still sweet.

{@puddssoul: Is Zaki a tribe kit? Flinn and his siblings are loners, so they wouldn't be close to the tribe camp. He could wander off and find them, though. ^^ }

Kalia yawned, blinking in the sunlight streaming through the tangled walls of the den. That late already? She'd asked Duskin to wake her at dawn. With a small sigh, she padded out of the den. "I'm going hunting." she told Duskin, not turning to look at him. "Look after the kits." With that, she bounded into the woods.

Duncan walked along the border, alert for any sign of trespassers. Not all the loners in this land respected the concept of territory.

Javelin, who'd passed the area ahead of Duncan, was searching for something to feed the tribe with. He wasn't exactly hungry, but he was sure his 'family' was. This is a waste of time... There's nothing out here... he thought sourly.

Felix stared at the female for a long moment. Why had she been walking up and down the border, looking so proud and strong, and now she cowered like a kit caught and cornered by a badger? "Uh, hi." Felix waved his tail at her in an odd sort of greeting, unsure of what he should do. After all, they didn't really have rules about keeping the loners out of their territory, so it wasn't like he could chase her away, but he wasn't certain if the others would approve of him bringing in another mouth to feed, when prey was already sparse enough to make anyone and everyone a constant hunter.

Zaki saw something rustling in the bushes near the edge of the little clearing where the tribe had set up home, curious, his eyes lit up, and he pounced on it without another thought, his instincts kicking in.

Karii could tell he was puzzled, and knew he was a tribe male. He would have prey. She faked a stomach growl, her blue eyes pleading. "I-I don't want any trouble..." she whispered lowly and innocently. Her fur ruffled out against a cold wind, but she wasn't bothered by the cold. She only made it seem that way. He wasn't the most handsome male she'd seen, but what he had to offer her was enough.

Felix looked at her with a hint of concern -- his first priority was supposed to be the tribe, but it wouldn't hurt to help her out a little, would it? -- he nudged one of the three mice he had caught toward her. "Here." It wasn't much, but then again, he knew well enough when you were hungry, anything would do. He wondered where she had come from, and after a moment, decided to ask, since she was on territory the tribe had staked as it own. "Where did you come from?" He asked, his tail moving slowly back and forth in a rhythmic way.
