Oku heard his friend's voice and glanced up at Adonis. "I'm hiding from crazy people like you." He retorted sharply, obviously nervous. "You know I don't like being in such closed in spaces with so many people. I'm a solitary guy. I don't do crowds and thrills. I like the music, lights and decor though. Maybe with you here, it might not be as bad as I thought. Ya gotta save me from the girls though. A lady-killer like me often gets swarmed by them. Its the hearts, girls love them." He laughed a bit, moving out of the corner.

Adonis laughed whole-heartedly, glad that Oku was lightening up and wouldn't be such a nervous wreck all night. "Oh yeah. Guy like you? You must be swarmed every time you come out of whereever you go into hiding." He teased him, then playfully added, "Besides, I don't mind taking the heat for you. Energetic guy like me? I think I can handle a few ladies." He leaned against the wall, spotting a few ladies amongst the crowd and eyeing them for a moment before grinning. "And we both could probably use a few more friends, eh?"

Oku laughed. "I can deal with a few others at a time, but after a bit, I get way too overwhelmed and nervous for anyone's good. I'm a uorrible flirt, unlike you." He grinned, moving his deep brown bangs from his cerulean blue eyes. "A few more friends would be fun to have around. Then you can torture them with your adventures.. and not me." Rolling his eyes, he glanced around, wincing as a bluish-green light shone right into his eyes. He blinked a few times, seeing spots, before he continued to look around. "Trouble is, we gotta talk to them first."

"Pssssh. Talking to girls, no problem. Talking to guys, even easier." Adonis replied, rolling his blue eyes at his friend, grinning practically from ear to ear. The lights of the club danced across his pale skin. "Anyone you've got your eye on?" He added, glancing around. It was hard to imagine what 'type' Oku would have -- another little bookworm? He couldn't imagine that you would find many of those out dancing in the club. Then again, maybe someone a bit more crazy and outgoing would lighten him up! Adonis laughed inwardly at the idea of Oku dating some kind of dare-devil.

"It was okay. We tested this type of firework that glew white, then started changing colors. It was cool." I say. "How was your day going?"

"Good." I say. 'How have you been doing? We barely get to hang out." I admit, sighing. Oh gawd, what if she can hear how fast my hearts going? I think, but calm myself. She couldn't know what I was thinking. Your mind is the only safe place you have, really.
