Talontip's eyes widened. He didn't know badgers could be so dangerous. He began to quickly and quietly follow the she-cat back to camp.
However, Talontip stopped and turned around, facing the badger's nest.
"Rivermist... do you smell... someone? Besides the badger, I mean. I think some other cat is here... definitely from our own clan, though."

She crouched lower, her breaths coming short and quiet. She inched forward and a badger reared up in front of her. She ran out of the way but tripped on a log. "HELP!" She wailed

Talontip's ears pricked up at this sound. "Skyfrost? Skyfrost!" he exclaimed. He quietly rushed forward, hoping not to get the badger's attention until he knew where it is.
Talontip spotted Skyfrost. He began to make his way around the area in which the badger and Skyfrost were. He headed towards Skyfrost, hoping for the badger to not do anything to this she-cat.

Skyfrost saw Talontip edging towards the badger. She snarled at the badger, keeping its attention on her. "Get out of here, foxdung!" She spat at it slashing her claws over its nose. It swiped at her and she leapt sideways, but the claws nicked her, creating a shallow wound on her shoulder. The badger was still heading towards her

Talontip glanced at Skyfrost and noticed that she was bleeding. He narrowed his eyed and snarled at the badger. The badger stopped and looked at both of the cats. Talontip lunged at it. He never realized how big a badger was, until he had leapt at it.
He clung onto it's shoulders, his claws digging into it's tough skin. The badger attempted to toss off the young tom cat, but did not succeed. Talontip bit down on the badger's rough neck, but the badger had had enough. It tossed Talontip off and kept glaring back and forth from Talontip to Skyfrost. The male cat got up and glanced at Skyfrost once again. "I'm not leaving a hurt clanmate to fight a badger alone. We might win this if we work together."

"Alright." Skyfrost meowed, a determined glint in her blue eyes. "Let's do this." she leapt up onto the badger's back, biting down on it's scruff, distracting the badger. Swiping her claws at it's head, she fell on the ground and yowled at her Clanmate, "Get it now!" As she scrambled to her paws.

Talontip leapt at the badger with determination, and clawed it's face. The badger snarled with pain and leapt back, but delivered a fierce blow to Talontip's chest. The cat stumbled back with blood swelling up on his cream chest fur. He glanced at Skyfrost, making sure she didn't get hurt by the badger any more than she did not too long ago.

"Talontip! Get back!" Skyfrost screeched, watching as blood poured from his wound. She leapt, furious onto the head of the badger, swiping at it's eyes and muzzle, ducking as it whimpered and swiped at her. It nicked her ear, making her even angier.

Talontip froze. He wasn't exactly sure what to do. His chest was bleeding and it was hurting, but he couldn't let Skyfrost fight alone...
The badger seemed to be blinded by it's own blood, at the moment. That would work as an advantage for the two cats.

Hawkstar saw Skyfrost leave and decided to go hunting too. He weaved through the bushes in the forest, looking for a good spot to hunt. When he reached a fallen oak tree, he bristled and took a step back.
I know that smell. Hawkstar thought. Badger.
Suddenly, he heard some yelling not too far away. Hawkstar ran towards the noise, hoping with all his might that no one was getting badly hurt.
