Autumnstar streached in her den. She looked up to see Sunfur in her usual spot. "Hello Sunfur, Swirlheart was looking for you the other day." Autumnclaw told Sunfur. "Oh...... Hehe... Oops, me and Dustpaw were at the mist waters..... It wont happen again!" Mewed Sunfur. Autumnclaw nodded and leaped down from her pearch. She padded over to Stoneclaw, the deputy. "Oh, hey Autumnstar! Should I start on the Patrols?" Stoneclaw asked. Autumnstar shook her head not wanting to talk much. Autumnstar then ran over to Dustpaw. "Dustpaw! Dustclaw was looking all over for you yesterday!" Autumnclaw told Dustpaw.

Swirlheart sniffed. "Sunfur." The tabby mewed. "Where were you? I was looking all over!" Swirlheart retorted. "Do you want to train today? Hunting maybe?" Swirlheart smiled and sat, her tail was wrapped over her paws, her blind eyes staring were Sunfur stand. She flicked her ears, hearing the other cats meowing to each other.

Meanwhile, in the elders' den, Frosteye was laying in his den, on his side. The old tom was staring at the entrance of the den, then he looked at his mate, Moonstar, a former clan leader, "hello Moonstar." He smiles. "Don't you miss when Mistnose was a kit? She grew up so fast to me." He thought of Mistnose, his daughter. He flicked his ear as Pearlwhisker padded in. "Hello Pearlwhisker," Frosteye mewed. Pearlwhisker smiled and put down a plump mouse. "Hello Moonstar, and Frosteye." The she mewed. "You must be hungry, is there anything else you need?" She smiled.

Sunfur blinked. "Sure! How about........ Battle training?" Sunfur asked. "Oh look here comes Stoneclaw........" Sunfur purred. "Swirlheart would you and Sunfur like to go on a border patrol?" Stoneclaw asked. Sunfur looked at the deputy with her head cocked. "Why us? Why not Reedleaf or...... Dustpaw?" Sunfur asked.

LilyKit woke up to sun shining in her eyes. "Meow "she purred and rolled to her other side and felt the warm sun hit her back. A couple minutes later and got up and stretched and walked out of the nursery. She filtered her eyes getting use to the shining sun. Se then poked her head up and looked around for her mo their HeartFeather. LilyKit saw her brave leader AutumnStar.
