Triant/Alpha/Red Howlers

Triant slowed his pace when they were deeper into the forest, needles layered the snow and the air was damp with the smell. He didn't mind it, Jasef had always trained him among the pines because it helped him endure harsh conditions. Triant smirked as those years came flooding back to him and he shook his black coat. Triant scented the air for prey, he wanted to grab a bite so they could take it to the den and rest. Not far ahead a small elk calf brayed for its mother, giving away it's location. Triant crouched low to the ground and inched closer, he moved to one side so it's back was too Triant. The brute inched ever so closer until he was a foot from it, the calf was swinging around violently that it wasn't until it almost stepped on Triant that he knew the wolf was there. Triant lifted up and sprang after the calf taking off at full force, the calf zig zagged but Triant was on it's tail and swiped out a paw to trip it up. The calf plumetted to the ground and Triant lunged for the throat.

Sesshomaru went on to continue inspecting the pack. Hed deal with Vincent later on, but right now he had pieces of his pride to pick up.

Nilah let the healer treat her aftyer everyone else had been, her pain subsided for now and House made her promise she would take it easy for awhile. She nodded and stood slowly like a young pup beginning to walk, and limped from the den out into the clearing. Her coat was matted with blood and she needed food to rebuild her strength. The fae grabbed a hare and took it to her den.

The female wasn't good in picking the best herbs, since she didn't knew the way of herbs. She knew what herbs where good for what actually. Before becoming a fighter she studied medicine, her mentor died soon after though and she began learning the ways of the battle. And after that day she became Omega. Her life wasn't a steady one. As Karin continued to search for herbs, the blood dripped down from her ear and her back, colouring the snow red. She wasn't hurt as bad as the others so she took it uppon herself to help them with their wounds. To search for herbs and for easy prey. Winter was a dangerous season after all.

Coraline watched him as he hunted then looked at the elk and looked around to make sure that the mother of the elk was not around here. She smirked when she saw it wasn't. She walked over and looked at Triant and then looked at the baby elk. She grabbed its back hoof and broke the leg at the hip to make sure it couldn't try and squirm away, then backed off to le Triant do the rest. She looked around, sniffing the air for some sort of scent.

Triant waited until the baby stopped struggling and its breathing stopped before letting go of the kill, he smirked and shook his coat happy with his catch, the brute then took the kill and beagn dragging it towards the den and shot up in a mound not 10 feet away. It was covered in snow and ice and the entrace was layered with leaves and rock to keep out the wind. Triant was able to squeeze through the narrow opening with the kil and lay down near the entrace just as the sun dissapreaed behind the hills. He sighed and licked his chest, he wasn't wore out from the trip like last time, but rest wouldn't hurt him.

Coraline followed him into the opening, slipping in near Triant and curling next to him happily. She smiled and said, "I'm guessing it is time to rest?" She had no clue what he planned or if he even had anything other then rest on his mind. She smiled and began to lick and clean her paws. She had found out quite a lot today, and sure as the sun came up in the morning she was was gonna have a talk with her father. She She looked over at Triant and raised an eyebrow curiously.

Triant chcukled and licked her head "Finally" he licked the meat of the carcass to make it easier to eat then took a bit and chewed slowly slightly pushing it towards Coraline. He swallowed his prey and looked at her when she raised an eyebrow 'What?" he asked curiously licking the blood off his lips. He pressd his nose up to hers and sighed "Something wrong?" he asked beginning to wonder what she was thinking and if he should know or not.
