Gale watched the two siblings interact, taking a few steps back to give them space. He glanced over his shoulder, occasionally making eye contact with one of the more skeptical warriors. His muscles were tensed, realizing that he would have to mention Melody's arrival to Shadow as soon as he returned from... Wherever he went off to.

Spirit considered his idea for a moment, nodding her head slowly. "I'm sure that'll work. I doubt they'd be taking action against you tonight, but we should do it as soon as we can tomorrow." She dipped her head, with a slight hint of nervousness, to Star as Tempest mentioned her. She still didn't completely trust the outcasts, but they hadn't done anything treacherous toward them yet, so she realized she must be respectful. Her eyes cast back over to the kits, approaching the distressed Leaf and curling up around the tom-kit to provide him warmth. "For the meantime, of course, we should take care of them the best we can." She kept her voice low and soothing, as if trying her best not to alarm the little kit.

"If you won't talk, neither will I." Oil shrugged it off, and once more, continued walking toward camp, tail lightly sweeping against the forest floor. The tom didn't seem agitated in the slightest, compared to the hostile she-cat, only eerily calm. However, he kept his ears perked just in case she tried to pounce on him while his back was turned to her. One could never trust a tribe cat.

Seagull dipped his head to Bone, watching as the she-kit trotted away. He noticed the queen stand up at the corner of his eyes, and approach her kits. Sometimes, he wished he had kits of his own. It was unlikely he'd be chosen to be a surgeon's apprentice, as he was much older than Water. He was barely younger than Rain herself. Picking the younger cat would probably be the best option in the end. The future was such an uncertain thing, but he couldn't afford to be a pessimist. With a small grunt, he stood up, stretching out his muscles before hurrying over to the freshkill pile. He plucked up a small fish from the pile, finding a nice spot to eat his dinner before going to sleep. It was a long day, and he could only hope those who helped Flame today would get their rest soon as well.

She said to Feather in a somewhat hushed tone, then turned around and padded across camp.

Crystal winced, noting the awkward silence this put between him and her. As they padded through the woods, the silence seemed more... Ominous. "I didn't mean it. I'm sorry." He spoke back up, disrupting the silence. He felt shame at seeming soft, but it was too late now.

Ice touched noses with Flower as well and watched the enthusiastic young apprentice bound off on her mission. Ice padded out of the lieutenant's den as normally as possible. She went to sit down somewhere around the entrance. She didn't want to look too obvious; who knows where Shadow's followers may be watching? Please, Flower. I'm counting on you, thought Ice as she watched the tribe cats go about their business.

It is so simple a thing... a tribe living in a wrecked ship. There could be more tribes out in the world. But no... other cats (especially Little and Shadow) had to target this particular tribe, and that made Ice angry. Ice had felt so much pain and sorrow, and she couldn't even get some peace and quiet. She tried to meditate, but of course, it didn't work. I hope Flower hurries up with her sample collecting. Though, I suppose it would be better to travel by night... Ice kept thinking and making up new possibilities while meditating and waiting for Flower.

"and i'm a... p-pure bread somali!" he puffed out his chest, looking very proud before glancing down at his fur and deflating a little. "they're not normally covered in beach dirt, though."
