Ok, well, you can do really anything with Winternose. My cat, Sunpelt, is going to start training his apprentice so you can join them if you want.)

Sunpelt padded into the clearing, looking around for Skypaw. " Skypaw." He called out in his deep voice.

Gooseheart made his way out of the make-shift elders den. Looking around, he quickly spotted a sunny area and lay down. He half closed his eyes, trying to drown out the sounds of the kits.

Skypaw padded out of the apprentice den and padded towards her mentor flicking her ears as she purred. " W h a t a r e w e d o i n g t o d a y??"

Sunpelt paused. " I think we are going to work on tracking today. We will start at the entrance way. Then, I will head off. You will wait a little while and then follow me. If you catch me first, you get to choose what training to do tomorrow. If I catch you, I choose. Sound fair?" He asked.

Skypaw smirked as she flicked her ears."Deal." she said and waited.

Miststep grinned. "Good." she said again. "But be careful. You need to focus on defense---" she paused, gently biting at the back of her apprentice's neck, which she'd put within easy reach. "---as much as attack." Letting go, Miststep reached quickly forwards, her paw hooking around Leopardpaw's foreleg and pulling it out from under her. Before the apprentice could react or regain her balance, Miststep twisted away in the opposite direction, then butted her head into her apprentice's shoulder, trying to push her over.

Leopardpaw spun around to face her, shying back tensly. Her paw was raised in defense, waiting for her mentor to strike.

Just to clarify--Miststep just tried to trip Leopardpaw and knock her over--did Leopardpaw manage to keep her balance and get away?}

Sunpelt gave chase after her, his muscles working hard. Since she was smaller, it was easier to keep up with her. But she could also change course easier. He needed to catch her and end this. As he got closer to her, he bunched his muscle and leapt into the air, aiming for Leah.

Leah squeaked and darted to the side, trying to avoid Sunpelt, but she wasn't fast enough. She dropped the bird as his paws hit her, pushing her to the ground. She struggled to escape, but he was too strong, and pinned her easily. She hissed furiously, though her eyes were wide with fear.

"I don't know, I just...I-I'm sorry" Redpaw stammered, lowering her head.

Pineclaw sighed. "Just...stay here. I'll have to get a patrol together to deal with this fox." he replied. The scent of blood drifted over to him, and his head shot up, fur bristling as he searched for the source. He quickly spotted a familiar warrior--Echostep. He hurried over to her, about to ask what happened.

Echostep padded back to Pineclaws group panting and had deep wounds "the fox's gone" she smiled with a giggle.

Pineclaw stared at her, speechless. She looked badly hurt, and now she was...giggling? "You're hurt, and in shock." he said after a moment. "We need to get you to a medicine cat." He looked down at the blind cat---his apprentice. "Redpaw, go find one of the medicine cats." he ordered shortly, beginning to scan the camp for one himself.

Naomi looked back towards Foxstride. "Of course. I can have your new necklace put together by the time you get back." she said with a smile.

Arcade slowly sniffed along the ground and caught a whiff of two cats. He quickly crawled through the bushes and leapt over a log. He landed in front of Naomi and Flutterpaw

Naomi blinked as Arcade landed in front of her. "Hello there." she said after a moment, tilting her head. "My, these grasslands are very crowded, aren't they? I didn't expect to meet anyone until I reached the forest." she commented. "My name is Naomi. This is Flutterpaw and Foxstride." she nodded towards each of the other cats. "What can I do for you, dear?"

Catching the sound of rustling, Mintsplash pokes her head out in curiosity. "Did you catch something?" the gray warrior asks while padding over to her apprentice. She fixes her gaze on the small mouse in front of her apprentice, and her eyes lit up." Amazing Loudpaw! You're a natural!" she exclaims in awe. "The way you immediately aimed for the rustling in the meadows was an act that any apprentice would have followed, though. Just take note that warriors will normally be as still as possible in battle. Another way you could try to find your enemy is by running with the wind for a little bit, then test the air. It does nit always work, though, so you will have to be alert." Mintsplash instructs. "Other than that, you were great! Why, in a few moons, you're going to be the finest hunter in SunClan! Why don't we deliver this mouse to Eaglestar when we get back to camp? I'm sure she will be very proud." she adds.

Loudpaw didn't really understand half of what she said for the ringing in his ears and shock that he caught something, so he just nodded. He was a bout ready to go back to camp now and show off his catch to Eagelstar, but he'd leave that up to his mentor. He set the mouse on the grassy soil and twitched his tail back and forth, waiting. His ears swivled as he listened for other noises.

Eaglestar shakily tried to step forwards, the only thought making it's way through the haze in her mind being to help her clanmates. Her paw slipped on the blood slicked grass, and she pitched forwards. Her vision went dark, and she remained conscious just long enough to hit the ground.

Lightpaw eyes widened with horror as she saw her leader collapse. She spun to face the others, who still surrounded Grinner. "Help!" she called. "It's Eaglestar!" Her tail lashed behind her, and she felt helpless, staring at the worryingly large pool of blood spreading slowly from the leader's torn chest.
