Shadow remembered the hunters. She stopped dead. "Cal, this is where th-" A gun shot cut her off, Shadow and Cal ran.

Cal; rran just behind shadow so that he was more likley to get shot than her, he spotted a hollow " shadow this way" he called and ran infront of her and into the hollow.

Shadow followed Cal into the hollow and watched the hunters run East of the camp.

Cal; sighed in releif "im glad they didn't get us and head towards the camp" he said thankfully. then his face lit up in an idea way. he howled into the ground to make the hunters think they were even further awway so that they'd probably give up "say" he said to shadow "did you see how many hunters there were?" he asked thoughtfully

jake; "oh, now you say it." he said with releif. then he lay down next to her and licked her forhead "no hunter will hurt you while i'm around, not if i can help it" he said affectionatley

(jakes muscles must be killing him now, he'd be like, a statue! )

Cal; "same!" he said afffectionatley and nuzzled her.

"Do you think it's safe to go out?"

Cal; sniffed the air "i think so, but we should probably be wary" he said cautiously and stepped out of the big hollow "where will the pack be staying and what will we be doing while the hunters are here?" he asked concerned about the pack.

Shadow remembered she was leader, How could I have forgotten?!?!? Shadow thought, "Um, first we would need to warn the tribe that the hunters are still here and we would have to go back to the caves." Shadow cringed at the thought of the cave where she revealed the secret of the jewels.
