Swiftshadow was just outside the camp entrance when the the typhoon came. The black tom never once showed fear until now. He stood there frozen for a moment before quickly heading to the nearest tree. High ground would help. If the tree was up rooted he would at least have something to hold onto instead of being dragged under the water.

The light colored she-cat was out of camp when the typhoon hit, but still got hit with it. She slipped under the water a few times before finally catching herself on a log. There she clung on for dear life, waiting the typhoon out.

Firepaw turned her head to look at their fellow den mate Rosepaw. Icepaw lifted his head and nodded at the she-cat before resting his head back down. "We're doing okay... yourself?" the calico she-cat asked.

The bengal she-cat nodded her head a bit, her eyes returning to the water before back to resting on Silverclaw. She wasn't trying to stare, but focusing on the tom kept her mind off of things. If she where to look at a tree or the sky her mind would wonder.
At least for now she would worry about Silverclaw then grieve in silence by herself.

The she-cat watched as Stoneheart moved away from the group, curiosity nagging at her causing her to stand and hurry after him. "Mind if I tag along?" She asked after catching up, not really caring where he was going more just wanting to get away and think for a bit.

Silverclaw flicked his tail out behind him as he sat watching the others as everyone worked together, waiting the water out and for Mintstar to tell them what to do. He could see the leader a bit away from most of the cats now, hoping she would address them soon as he knew it would calm some of the cats for her to do so or at least tell them what the plan was. He left her to her thoughts though, staying beside Fadedshadow to keep her from being alone. "Did you get hurt?" He asks her after a moment, not noticing any cuts or anything before but that didn't mean she didn't have any.

paleheart stopped as mintstar placed fernkit in front of her paws, the white molly immediately bent down and sniffed at the small kit. she saw the small kit's leg was having trouble, 'dear starclan, why have you crippled so many today..' she mewed in her mind. she picked up the kit softly and passed swiftly over to marbeldream and placed the kit down, "please watch him while i go get more comfrey root." she meowed then turned quickly and ran to where she had last seen the root. there was a bit more father down the slope though she may not be able to get back up if she went too far. she steeled her nerves and padded down the steep slope, her paws sliding ever so often on the crumbling rock side. the molly gripped onto the root with her teeth and began to gnaw it until it came loose in her mouth, she grunted as she began the climb back up the steep hill. her claws gripped into the ground and pulled herself up, she felt a root snag her claw as she slid down a bit. paleheart bit down hard on the root as her claw came loose slightly, she bit back the pain and climbed faster. she padded over quickly to fernkit her eyes caught the bleeding pelt of wildfire, she felt her fur fluff up in slight panic. she placed the root down and looked at marbeldream "chew a bit of this root and place a layer of poultice on fernkit's hind legs." she mewed hastily then ran over to wildfire and shadefern, "place him over there in the shade quickly and try to keep him conscious." paleheart dashed off into the forest to grab cobwebs and dock leaves or feverfew. 'dear starclan guide my paws and help me save my clan mates!'

the light cream colored tom turned as he suddenly heard a voice from below him. he stood up and fluffed up his pelt, his head tilted as he saw a small molly below him, "hello, what are you doing all the way up here?" he asked and leaped down from the tree and landed before her with a soft thump but fumbled over his paws lightly. leo grunted slightly but fixed himself quickly, his rather long tail flicked behind him as he straightened up, he was curious about the small cat before him now. she smelled of the ocean and sand so he figured she was with those group of cats that just got washed up on the hill.

the warrior looked towards bearface, "yes it really has.. but we are strong and we have each other." she meowed and looked towards the small kit as it was bathed by bearface's tongue.

whitefang perked his ears at Tideclaw then Marbeldream, tension was high between all of them, he knew once the clan was fed that everyone would feel much better. his pale eyes looked over marbeldream as she sulked away then turned towards Weaselfang and Ravensong, "i'm sure a little food could go a long way at this moment." he meowed then headed off at a brisk pace in the upper regions of their territory. his tail lashed out behind him as he padded quickly, scenting the air as he went in case of any prey heading down back to their burrows though it'd be highly unlikely at this time. the tom's whiskers twitched lightly as a small breeze blew down from in front of them.

Broken laughed as the tom played with the kit. She noticed that Cloudkit's mother didn't come back, and she went out to look for her. She quickly spotted her in the crowd. "Hello? You're Cloudkit's mother aren't you?" She tapped Marbledream on the shoulder lightly with her tail. "Do you need help with something? You seem a little lost," she asked gently. She wanted to show kindness to the cats that she met, not exactly ready to meet many at once in case she ended up leaving. She understood if the black and white cat rejected her offer, but she still offered anyway.

Tideclaw tried to pull his tail from the kits grasp, but made a feeble attempt at it. "Oh no! The fierce warrior has me trapped, there's no hope for escape!" he gasped dramatically, but not loud enough to attract unwanted attention.

Stoneheart carefully made his way through the trees, staying in its branches, rather than trying to get through the mud. He could scent some cats but didn't think anything of it. He could hear a lonely bird call through the trees,
and turned his attention to it for a moment before continuing on.

Rosepaw sat down near them, smiling faintly. "I'm not as beat up as I thought I'd be. I think I tore a claw or two but it'll heal," she responded, flicking her tail over her paws.

Poppypaw sniffed at her splint, attempting to shift her broken leg before wincing. She breathed softly, awkwardly setting her leg out from her side. She wondered how long she'd be useless, but shook her cranium quickly, to rid herself of her thoughts. She wasn't the only one wounded, and she'd be back up and hunting in no time.

"I'm looking for my father, and my sibling." Red mewed, his tail lashing back and forth. Panicking, he glanced behind the young cat, now called Amberpaw, his pelt bristling with anxiety. His rhinarium smelt infection and blood, and with his visors he watched several able bodied warriors leave. He relaxed again, but his optics remained wide, panicked.

Ravensong ambulated after Whitefang, before forking away from the rest of the patrol. The tom was a better hunter solitary. The sun ceased to reveal itself, and Ravensong's black pelage fluffed up making him close to twice his size. He leaned back on his haunches before launching himself over a muddy puddle, landing firmly on his mitts. His black rhinarium twitched as his breathed in the aroma. A salty twinge close to masked the other fragrances, but he was able to scrutinize the mellow scent of a water vole, that must have fled into the upperlands as the typhoon hit. His instincts heightened as his turned his audits and opened his maw to better scent the prey.

She scolded herself mentally. Of course if he knew he would say... Amberpaw took a moment to think. There's Rowanfur, Russetflame, Lionblaze...Gingerleaf too but she'd have to be an older sibling... And Lionblaze is too young to have a kit close to my age... "Russetflame and Rowanfur are the only two I have in mind, really." She tried listing the copper-colored cats in her head. "There's Firepaw. Wait, never mind." Firepaw and Icepaw were siblings, and it had to be someone that didn't have any littermates. "Maybe Poppypaw? She's the only apprentice left who has ginger in her fur." She shuffled her paws uneasily. "I'm sorry. I don't think I'm much help." She said, both shameful and embarrassed.

⇨ His tail lashed with a sense of pride and thrill, and the hunt has barely begun. I'm going to catch something huge! Then I'll be made a warrior at eight moons! The idea made him tingle with excitement. He lost his attention to the patrol, and upon shaking his fantasy away, he quickly trotted after the others, almost face planting into the mud. He prayed to Starclan that no body saw, and his he gave a few licks to his chest fur, trying to act calm, as if nothing happened.
