His long legs helped him keep up for a bit, but he could feel his own weight heaving down on them. Slowing down as they neared the log, he bunched up his muscles and lept over it. Once he heard the thud, the brute pauses in his steps and turning to the smaller warrior. "Hey, you alright? Anything twisted? Broken?"

Cloudchaser lifted her head and spit out dirt. "I'm alright!" She got up and shook out her fur. "Heh heh.... Maybe we should just walk..." Cloudchaser blushed in embarrassment at tripping over the log.

Sighing with relief, the warriors nods before leading the way back towards camp at a moderate pace. Getting hurt wasn't worth a morsel of fun, but that didn't mean he should never try to be a fun cat. "Pouncing is all in the hind legs, it's difficult to run and jump over something that size. You almost have to come to a complete stop in my case."

She nodded looking down at her paws. "Alrighty, thanks for the tip!" She purred. When they reached camp, Cloudchaser went over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a squirrel. Then sitting by the Warriors den, she started gnawing at her meal.

Nodding as she walks off to get some prey, he questions if his rival becoming deputy was really a bad thing. It wasn't like Starclan was falling from Silverpelt, plus the cat was good at being bossy when he wasn't. Sighing, he looks up at the sky in thought; occasionally glancing at Cloverpaw across camp to make sure her positions were correct. He'd helped train her before, it's not like her mentor was doing much to step in today.

Walking away from Skysong, the tom tried to keep his mind somewhat straight from what he wanted and what the clan needed. Most of his life he'd kept quiet and to himself, longing for a mate and kits to call his own; yet now that didn't seem possible. The whole clan would depend on him to force through these harsh times, there'd be no time to think of himself anymore...

As it stood, she was sadly one of the only apprentice in camp and no one to train with. Leopardpaw seemed a bit anxious right now to be training, but she guessed soon enough Sunblaze's kits would be old enough to train with her. Crouching in the shade, she practices a few paw swipe techniques for when you're cornered; having not mastered the move where you balance on your hind legs and batter the opponents face.

She forced her depressing thoughts out of her mind, mentally scolding herself for behaving like a fool. Looking around she spotted Cloverpaw practicing some battle moves. With a friendly smile the older apprentice approached, saying, "Try stretching out your tail a bit, it will help you keep your balance when you're on your hind legs."

While her personality was usually calm, she didn't like being told what to do when caught off guard. She knew Leopardpaw was eleven moons old, just shy of warrior age, so she bit her tongue. "Like this?" Part of her swore her tail had a mind of it's own, often resulting in a hunting failure. It flicked back and forth at the tip, but she tried her best to balance out with her head and tail.

She nodded with a smile, "Yeah, that's a lot better. Don't worry, you'll get there. I had a hard time learning some of these moves too. But you're good, judging from the other moves I saw." Leopardpaw sat down, curling her tail around her front paws.
