He padded with Lightningpaw through the Oak Forest. He felt the ground, soft and spongy, beneath his paws. It was soothing on his pad, since he had been training on a dirt-turned-gravel clearing. "Don't you just want the rain to stop?" He asked his apprentice.

Lightningpaw trotted after Rowanlog. "Yeah, I'm starting to hate the wetness. It sucks. Its gonna start to kill off herbs, and then what will happen when cats get sick..." He trailed off, thinking in dismay.

Rowanlog nodded. "Hopefully Emeraldsky has a good stock of herbs. We wouldn't want any cats falling ill , and possibly dying." Rowanlog felt his pelt leak with the dripping water. "I better not get sick," he growled. He looked over at Lightningpaw. "Your pelt is thicker then mine, that's good. We need young cats like you to be healthy."

Emeraldsky cocked her head, and sniffed the air around the she-cat that had come face to face with her. Kittypet. She stepped back, almost dropping her herbs. Then she noticed that this she-cat had no claws, but she wondered how sharp her teeth were. "U-Umm... Y-yes," she replied with a stutter, her ears flattening. Emeraldsky wasn't much of a fighter, and hoped that this kittypet was nice. She smelled a hint of catmint on the kittypet, and her ears perked up. "Do you have catmint in your twoleg gardens?" she asked, her eyes sparkling. She had a small amount, and thought this was chance to get more.

He looked back at his fur and saw that despite him looking drenched, hr was kinda warm. "My pelt just does that. " he shrugged. "Let's go, before you do get sick.," he meowed, humor glimmering in his eyes.

Adderclaw was impressed at how well Swiftclaw could use his hindlegs in midair. "Did you learn that move from observing?" he asked.

"It's fine," Thrushpaw laughed, "I love bad jokes," she added, purring gently.

(The move Adderclaw mentioned is one where the cat leaps onto the back of the other cat, and when they land, they use their hindclaws to scratch the cat's neck and head.)
