Lightningfoot followed, shivering as the walls narrowed around her.

Timberfoot dropped to the floor of the well with a small grunt.

Lightningfoot nudged him from behind. "Come on, Timberfoot. We have to keep moving."

[Cradily]

"I know..." Timberfoot's voice was strained and scared. He took a deep breath and slowly approached the pool of water.

[C a s]

Lightningfoot sat against the wall of the cave. "You too should go in alone. Deputies don't really do that sort of thing, if I remember correctly."

[Cradily]

"Right." Timberfoot's tail lashed nervously. He seemed to be hesitating.

Braveheart padded ahead of Timberfoot and was close to the water now. He looked at Timberfoot and smiled before dipping his paws into the water and laying down, touching his nose to the pool.

Timberfoot gulped, went to sit beside Braveheart, and did the same. Within seconds, everything was black.

(Don't forget Diptail! He was my favorite elder. Maybe Leopardtail could give him a life? I know they didn't know each other that well but they went through something similar. They both loved cats they couldn't have. You said a while back that Leopardtail loved Moonstar, right?)
