Otterkit smiled at what Shiverwhisker had said before noticing Stormkit wasn't coming yet. Feeling her tail-tip on his shoulder he turned around. Listening to her words he smiled gently. "Hey, don't be nervous. I'll be with ya the whole time," he promised. "Shiverwhisker's really nice too. I had a twisted paw one time and he fixed it. He was very nice then, and I doubt he won't be nice now." He added hoping to assure his new friend. Stormkit was scared, he realized. And then he figured he'd be scared too if he was in such a large place like this. But Otterkit planned to help her see that the clan wasn't all that bad. In fact it could be alot of fun!
Viperpaw had finally managed to catch up to FrostWing and Shadowpaw by now and was trying her hardest not to fall behind again when they all finally reached camp. Seeing that clan camp was a huge relief to the tortoiseshell and she let out a weak, tired purr. "Let's see if we can get Duskpaw some help," she mewed to Shadowpaw, before hobbling towards the medicine cat's den to find two kits, one she knew to be Otterkit and the other...she'd never seen before. shaking her head she peered into the den. "Shiverwhisker! Duskpaw needs help!" she called.

DuskBlaze chuckled at the mix of answers and for a moment she pondered as she tried to think of such a story to tell. And then she smiled warmly and looked down at the three kits she was now taking care of. "Well then the story of 'The Serpent and The Lion Warrior' sounds just about right." Her eyes gleamed with pleasure as it was one of her favorite stories to tell after all. "And to think it has just as much romance, action and is surely awesome in my opinion," She mewed with a soft purr. When the other kits began to gather as well as their mother, DuskBlaze smiled warmly at them all. "Why of course you can, now come on gather round," she mewed with a purr.

"Are you ready to go, pet?" she asked cocking her head, her nose twitching as a breeze blew by. Wait.. she smelled at least 4 cats, 2 were injured..? One smelled like.. Grinner! Foxstride quickly stood and pointed her head in the direction of the smell, her ears swiveling to catch any sounds.

{Sorry, must have missed them before! But yes, they're accepted. I'll add them up now.

Grinner fought back with less and less hard moves as the clan kept up their moves at his body. He couldn't last much longer, but he had a good thought of taking out Eaglestar to get away from all these cats that attacked him like a fox to a hound. He lifted a bleeding paw to raising it up to attack Eaglestar, and with a hard slash he aimed it at her chest just as she slashed his hurting ear with her own claw. He held back a scream in pain as his claws connected with her chest, and he took a few steps back as his legs wobbled under him. He was sure it hit her, but he knew if he missed he was sure to either get killed or hope that his pride would not die in claiming he would not attack the clan again. Yet, even though saying he wouldn't didn't mean he would stop, since he still unfinished business with Duskpaw. He had a deep plan to turn him, and when the moment was right in the darkness of night he would strike to change his little son to his monster.

Eaglestar gasped for air, her chest burning where Grinner had struck it. She stumbled forwards, bright blood shining on the grass at her paws. Hers? His? She couldn't tell. The world seemed to sway around her as she looked up, narrowing her unfocused eyes to glare at Grinner, baring her bloodstained teeth.

Raccoonstrike spotted the rogue's paw slash directly at Eaglestar. He let out a snarl and plunged both his front paws towards Grinner, hoping that with the distraction of all the other cats he could land a dangerous blow on the offender. He felt rage pour through him, strengthening him; it was an unfamiliar emotion to the normally-calm tom. He couldn't believe his first outing with his apprentice had turned into such a disaster. Would he still be a mentor after this, when he didn't stop Duskpaw from going towards the meeting and then getting so hurt? He pushed the dark thoughts out of his mind and concentrated on the battle.

Spiritblaze watched the sisters and purred before looking everywhere for the medicine cat
"thankyou mistypaw" he mewed looking at the dark shecat.

Littlekit purred happily hearing the shecat talk about the story
"yay! i cant wait" she curled up into a little white ball and her yellow eyes glowing.
Coalkit grinned
"awesome! except could you ..." he whispered the rest in her ear
"shorten the lovey dovey crud?" he sat back down with a grin thinking he won the shecat over with his awesomeness.
Bumblekit smiled and curled around her little sister and licked her head
"hey Little..where did you get the Daisie?" the older kit mewed with a purr
"you look cute" she giggled lightly.

DuskBlaze chuckled at that and smiled warmly. "I'll try and keep that in mind, Coalkit," she mewed with a purr. Seeing the sisters curled around eachother as well for the story DuskBlaze reached into her nest and pulled out a violet. "If you like it so much, young Bumblekit, here's a pretty violet for you." She placed it behind the she-cat's ear with a gentle smile. These kits were starting to grow on her alright. Her own kits had certainly loved this when they'd been their age. DukBlaze took a deep breath before shaking her head to clear away those thoughts and recollect her story. "Now then once upon a time, there was a mountain that reached the very edges of Starclan itself and on that mountain a young tom by the name of Leo lived there. His fur was that of gold, and his eyes gleamed a bright amber for he glowed like the sun. And it was said that he helped to raise the sun each and everyday, from his spot upon that mountain," DuskBlaze's voice was soft as she told the story, familiar words falling easily into place on her tongue and flowing skillfully from her mouth. "Leo lived on that mountain for many moons, by himself raising and lowering the sun, but he'd never seen what had happened afterwards because he was often asleep. What he didn't know was that the sun, had a sister. And so did he. DuskBlaze paused here and smiled softly before continuing. "Her name was Isis and she lived on the other side of the mountain. Her eyes were grey however and her fur was the silkiest silver and she rose the moon for Starclan instead, to shine it's light and guide those at night. She didn't know of Leo herself though she knew of his sun. To her it was far too bright however and staring into it would often make her eyes hurt far too much. To her his sun was unnecessary, but whenever she'd been about to raise the moon during the daytime instead, the sight of the sun often bothered her too much to be bothered," DuskBlaze knew she had to tell this part of the story first or else her audience would never understand the rest of the story later. She let out a soft purr as she paused for a moment.
