Beacon heard sudden rustling beside her, scenting the air briefly. She glanced over at the source, gasping as she saw the head of a dog poke out of the bushes. "Apollo! Dog!" She yelped, trying to scramble away from the beast. It lunges out of the bushes, charging at the two of them, a hungry look in its eyes.

Gale nods, turning toward the direction of the camp. "Just stay close to me, okay? Just in case someone reacts badly. I doubt it'll happen, but it's better safe then sorry." He informed her, starting to walk forward toward camp. He could tell that Melody was excited, and he could only hope that she wouldn't be let down.

Howl suddenly tugged his tail away from Lion, swatting his brother's face with his tail. He flicked an ear, glancing over his shoulder as Bone questioned their mother after calling them 'trouble.' He uncaringly shrugged his shoulders, continuing on with his search for an interesting warrior to pester.

Jackal chuckled as she said she won't apologize, sitting down as well. "I didn't quite expect you to do so anyway." He began grooming out his dirtied coat to the best of his ability, occasionally spatting out mud to the side. A slightly disgusted expression formed on his face as the taste of mud got on his tongue. "I'm tempted to just run down to the beach and wash this off. At least sand is less of a pain to get off than mud." The tom cat started complaining, though he was thankful he had a thinner coat.

Seagull snickered, glancing down at Bone as she approached them with wide eyes. Just a moment ago, the young she-kit was acting all tough, now she was giving such a pleading face. "Ah, but being trouble isn't always a terrible thing." He gently nudged Bone with a paw. "At least you three aren't boring, right?"

Crystal rolled his eyes, watching as Maple surpassed him and sat down in front of him. His ears fell back, leering down at the younger she-cat. He stood there in silence, fur bristling slightly, dying to say "no" to the apprentice, but already he could tell that "no" wasn't an answer this apprentice would accept. He groaned quietly, then finally spoke up once again. "Fine, but be careful. I don't want to be blamed for the death of some apprentice who was being an idiot." He sounded defeated, then started walking past her again. "And keep up!"

Rose cautiously walked alongside the rocks near the cliffs, carrying a seagull in her jaws. A million scenarios ran through her mind at what could happen at the cliffs at night- she could slip and fall, and nobody would find her until morning, she could drown and nobody would see her, she could severely injure herself on one of these rocks. All of these terrible ideas sent shudders through her body, but she forced herself to continue on, though her legs were a little shaky with each step. The sooner she was off the rocks and heading to camp, the better.

Oil was currently perched on the log of a recently-fallen tree, eyes scanning his surroundings with curiosity. Of course, he doubted anyone would dare wander out here at this time. Content with his reasoning, he let his guard down for the moment and began grooming out his tangled long black fur, sparing a few glances at his surroundings here-and-there to make sure he was safe from any potential ambushes.

''I can teach you, don't worry.'' Feather smiled. ''I don't mind, just so as long as your careful.'' the tabby added sternly. With a flick of his tail, Feather got up to leave. ''I'm leaving now, I hope you get well soon Whisper.'' He comforted, his voice gently and full of kindly murmurs. Turning tail, the sailor trotted back out into the sunny clearing. Full of high hopes for the day, Feather was shockingly met with the world's most horrible sight. The very cat he'd sworn to protect, laying on the ground unable to walk. ''Flame!'' he gasped loudly. Bounding over to her, Feather stared wide-eyed in shock at Flame. ''W-what happened...what happened!?''

This was the last thing she wanted, Feather fretting over her. Craning her neck in exhaustion, Flame sighed loudly and put on a brave face. ''It's...it's fine.'' she croaked. ''Seagull worked his magic, Feather.'' the tortoiseshell murmured, in a desperate bid to calm down the fretful sailor. ''Just ask the others!'' Flame gasped in a jolt of pain. With shiny amber eyes, Flame looked around the camp. She was searching for another, she didn't want to deal with Feather at the present.

Silently outraged by Tide, Crow was tempted to take a piece out of him for good measure. Fur bristling, Crow remained flustered, unable to come up with some kind of witty comeback. ''I could s-still report you to your superiors.'' Crow replied, turning to Tide. ''I mean...there are sailors higher than you, Tide.'' She sneered once more, her eyes regaining their familiar shine of confidence.

Pulling her tail away from Lion's nibbling jaws, Bone pulled a cheeky smile at her mother. The sandy kitten then turned to Seagull and beamed cheerfully at him. She was full of smiles and sunshine today that was for sure. ''Thanks, Seagull!'' Bone replied, before bounding after her carefree brother. ''You are so frigid!'' she squeaked, staring at him sternly. ''No-ones gonna want to talk to.''

Tide shoots Crow a cold glare, "I know, respect and understand who my superiors are, unlike you. Oh Arcadia help me if I hear you say anything like that again" He concluded with a snarl.

"Yeah, I think they were taken this way." Leopard padded forward, seeing that the forest got a bit darker than before.

Apollo jumped between the mut and Beacon, his fur bristled and his hackles were on end. He hissed, unsheathing all claws and swiping at the dog. He hit the dog's face, but the dog happened to grab the scrawny little Apollo, tearing marks into his sides and back. When the dog shook his head, Apollo's tail was whipped enough to fracture in the middle and his left rear paw was caught on one of the dog's teeth. Apollo reached around, getting a good look at the dog's throat and reached to bite it, but couldn't, however he could claw it and did, causing fear to well inside the dog. Apollo was soon out of the dog's grip and the dog was running away, yelping in pain. Apollo tried to walk back to Beacon, but halfway to her, he collapsed. Pain was plastered on his face as he tried to get up, but he was too weak.

Morrigan nodded slightly and looked at the queen. "Who are you?" she asked.

Star reached down, nuzzling little Leaf. "It's okay, Leaf. When the sun is up, we will bring you home." she said softly, then gave Song a small glance.

Eagle sighed. "Well great, i'm in the paws of a black widow." he said to himself.
