((Um she can help Viperpaw with Shadowpaw I guess! XD Pebblerun snuck up on Grinner and everyone just kinda jumped into action. Viperpaw has Duskpaw now, but Grinner injured her shoulder so she's in need of some help. X3 Lightpaw, Racconstrike, Demon and Eaglestar are ganging up on him now along with Silverkit/paw.))

A growl rumbled in the mottled tom's throat as his claws left a slice in Grinner's face. He pulled away but wasn't fast enough; teeth sank into his paw. He suppressed a cry of pain, and brought his other front paw up to try and land a blow against the grey rogue's head. He felt himself being tugged down, and finally managed to free his paw, which was now bleeding freely from the bite marks. Luckily they were small, despite being deep. Raccoonstrike shook it out and rejoined the quarrel; although it was hard to land a blow on the rogue since he was so overwhelmed by the rest of the attacking cats. He was Viperpaw dragging Duskpaw away from the cluster, and hoped Shadowpaw--whom Eaglestar had called to assist her, would be enough to get the black apprentice to safety.

"Right,Eaglestar!" Shadowpaw calls, darting into the small clearing, avoiding the flurry of claws. Viperpaw indeed did need help. "Viperpaw, Frostwing can carry Duskpaw. I'll help you back. You need a rest." the tom says urgently, his black pelt standing between her and the battle. Inside, he was as frightened as a little kit, but there was no time for fear. Will Eaglestar be okay? Psh, she's the clan leader! Of course she'll be fine! Maybe I can just come back after dropping off Viperpaw and Duskpaw.

{Lightpaw's busy fighting, but I think Frostwing may be coming to help. ^^}

Pebblerun was still more or less towering over Duskpaw. Any attempts Grinner might have to hurt him would be aimed at her. " Both of you start moving. Frostwing needs to be able to grab Duskpaw to move him. I'll protect him, don't worry." She growled, her eyes narrowed in rage. She realized that with all the cats, she didn't have a chance to turn around to see Grinner's strikes. Well, her back would have to do.

Crookedtail nodded,"Well, some of us don't end up with the best of mentors. Even though he was strict, he taught me everything I know. I hope he survived the fire." He sighed, poking her tail with one paw. " I'm sorry to hear that." He pinned his ears in sympathy. He smiled, trying to ease the mood of the conversation. "Well, it looks like we're fetching some more prey, then!" He meowed, jumping with the excitement of an apprentice on their first outing. "Where to?" He asked, flicking his tail.

Emberflight stood, and flashed Crookedtail a smile. "I hope he did too. Survive, I mean. And it's alright. We've all lost family, friends, and even those we didn't know we would miss until they were gone. All we can do is hope." Her eyes brightened, and she gave her pelt a light shake to dethatch the leaves clinging to her tail fur. "Anywhere you choose, take your pick! Maybe wherever the wind takes us! To the moon! The stars!" She rambled in a louder tone, a clear bit of sarcasm to her voice and a twinkle in her eyes.

Foxstride flicked her tail, considering the deal carefully, could showing this pet where the ragweed grew be a good idea? She really did like the idea of that beautiful ring around her neck... Foxstride looked up at the tabby and grinned at her, "Deal, but be warned pet. It is a days trip to the ragweed, plus I will be picking up the other ingredients," she cocked her head at the tabby, "So pet, you up for it? And since we shall become traveling buddies might as well know what to call each other, huh? Just call me Foxstride, Rogue extraordinaire." Foxstride chuckled at her joke and waited for the pet's reply.

Flutterpaw's eyes sparkled at the thought of having something all her own, and she pondered hard. "I know where to find some beautiful Sparrow's feathers, if you would be interested in those." She smiled, looking at Naomi. She jumped as Foxstride spoke over her shoulder, her cardinal's feather coming loose as she scattered to grab it again, nearly having to pounce on it to keep the light object from drifting away. As she settled back down, now feeling nervous in front of the other rouge, she tucked the scarlet feather back behind her ear. "I killed a blue jay earlier, which I haven't taken back for the elders yet... Would you like a few of the feathers off of it and my sparrow?" She asked quietly and respectively, the reflection of the key and chain dangling from Naomi's paws showing in her eyes.

Naomi grinned. "Naomi." she introduced herself with a nod. "And don't worry about the distance. I'm no stranger to travel." She glanced back at Flutterpaw. "One moment," she excused herself, turning to listen to the apprentice's offer. She smiled. "Of course, dear. Why don't you go fetch those feathers while I put that necklace together for you?"

Foxstride stood swiftly and smirked at the two cats, "Well, ladies, I would love to stay but I have to run a few errands before we go, Naomi." Foxstride glanced around for a place to met back up with the tabby, "I guess met me back here in a few, I shouldn't be long." Foxstride cocked her head at the pet waiting for a answer.

Naomi looked back towards Foxstride. "Of course. I can have your new necklace put together by the time you get back." she said with a smile.

Arcade slowly sniffed along the ground and caught a whiff of two cats. He quickly crawled through the bushes and leapt over a log. He landed in front of Naomi and Flutterpaw

Naomi blinked as Arcade landed in front of her. "Hello there." she said after a moment, tilting her head. "My, these grasslands are very crowded, aren't they? I didn't expect to meet anyone until I reached the forest." she commented. "My name is Naomi. This is Flutterpaw and Foxstride." she nodded towards each of the other cats. "What can I do for you, dear?"
