Duskpaw quietly slid swiftly through the forest, making sure not to rustle anything. She saw a pheasent, and grinned. It was pecking at some seeds. She stalked forward, then, quick as lightning, she grasped the bird's neck in her jaws before it could fly away. She then buried it beside a tree and kept going.

Lavender-Eyes's usually emotionless face turned humerous, and he chuckled, "Actually, I've been a warrior for a while. You see, two moons ago, Greenstar offered to let me be a warrior, but I refused. I wanted to keep training, and learn more. Of course, Greenstar gave me my name, but in private, so only Icefire and I knew about it. When I finally found myself worthy to be a warrior, I told him."
