Vex heard Arsenic outside the door. There was no turning back now. The house smelt of decay, and now bones. A skeleton appeared behind Vex. The skeleton jumped and sunk it's teeth into his neck. Vex sheicked and threw the skeleton off, its bones shattering against the wall. It stood still for awhile, but the bones began to move together. Vex folded his ears down and sprinted off towars Cali's dirrections. The skeletons ran after him.

Arsenic called her skeletons off."Its okay, leave him be." She went into the room the box was in. She took it and layed back down, she hid it under her tail. She called Vex over."Its okay!"

Vex thought quick. He thought very quickly. "I was exploring, and the skeletons began to chase me," He panted. "I could've beat them," He said.

"Its okay hun, this will soon be your house.Explore all you want."

[morris.]

"Why will it?" He asked curiously.

"Because, I cant keep it forever. This used to belong to my little girl. Lay down and I will tell you the story."

Vex lied down, his ears perched.

Arsenic sighed."Well it started the day I was born. My mother was killed so I was left to fend for myself, and Zeph. So Zeph being older brought us this beat up old mansion, at the time it was beautiful. A little girl had come out and found us, she took us in, fed us, played with us. One day though she left. She came back after years, but she was older. She had forgotten about us, she thought we were scary when we jumped up on her from missing her so much. She started abusing us, she stoppedfeeding us, and finnaly stuck us outside. Well, she finally broke my chian. I snapped, she died that night, her family left. So I stay in this place, my family included. There is a big secret in this house though."

Vex looked worried. "Thats horrible," He tensed. His tail curled near his feet and he still looked at her.

Arsenic sensed his tension."Whats wrong? The secret? I know what it is."
