SeaWing glanced over at the other cats, turning to SilverStorm. "I'm going back to camp to see how much prey there is, and to check and see if the elders and queens need anything, then I'll probably go hunting." He gave her a small smile. His heart did a little flip as he looked at SilverStorm.

He spotted another apprentice. SpiritPaw tilted his head slightly, he thought her name was AshPaw, she had joined recently. He slowly made his way over to her and sat a few hare leaps away, still too shy to actually say anything. HIs lime-green eyes focused on the sky above him as he tried to gather up his courage to talk to the other apprentice.

Ashstar's tail flicked. "Okay then." His head nodded, signaling for her to speak. "Yes. Cinderpaw came and spoke to me earlier this morning. I told her to tell you to confirm with me that she is ready." The tom grinned. "To be 16 moons old, I sure hope she is ready to receive her warrior name." The leader glanced at Dapplednose for a moment before his attention returned to Limeleaf. "One she arrives in camp we'll have her ceremony. But as for now, I need to make another announcement." Dipping his head he quickly spoke, "Now if you'll excuse me." The tom took a few steps towards his den before turning around. He cleared his throat before yowling out, "Cats of Emberclan. I need your full attention."

Nightpaw followed his mentor into camp. He felt relieved to be back, at least now he could have some quiet time to himself. The tom laid his catch down on the fresh-kill pile. It was looking a lot better than it had earlier in the day. His attention focused on Sootnose as she began to praise him. A smile grew on his dark muzzle. "Thank you Sootnose. It's all thanks to the way you have trained me." He felt a little uneasy at the mention of friends. The tom didn't really consider himself to have friends. Nodding his head he turned around. "I'll see you later, Sootnose." Glancing over his shoulder he nodded a farewell to his mentor before padding off. Stormypaw was the first to grab his attention. The tom didn't seem like he would be annoying to talk to. "Hey there, Stormypaw." The long-legged tom padded closer to his denmate. "Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?"

Falconblaze grinned awkwardly at Cherryblossom. Having other cats around was making their time together very uncomfortable, and it was obvious. He shot a glance at the water. Though he didn't mind being near it, getting in was a different story. However, for some reason, he felt willing to get in if that's what the she-cat wanted to do. With a quiet sigh he glanced at Silverstorm and Seawing one last time before turning to face the water. "Well." He chuckled awkwardly. "Here I go, I guess." Taking a couple steps forward, the large brown tabby leaped into the water. The cold water caused his body to shiver. He looked up at Cherryblossom. "Come on! It's your turn." In that moment, he felt like an apprentice once again.

Ashpaw was deep in thought, it didn't take her long to notice another cat was staring at her for a moment. But she simply shrugged it off, maybe someone was just curious of her appearance. Retreating back to her thoughts she began to day dream, just silly things honestly. The grey she cat blinked a couple of times feeling a quiet presence, this broke the young feline out of her thoughts as she looked up and looked to her left than right. Seeing a tom maybe younger than her a couple of lengths away from where Ashpaw was sitting, she stared at the other apprentice her blue eyes watering with curiosity of what he was thinking off. But before she could get in full progress of thinking Ashstar the leader of Emberclan called for every cats attention. She jumped up a bit looking a bit taken back. Ashpaw awkward stared at Ashstar. It was kinda funny that her name was his name in a way..

Smoketail looked down at his paws a bit until he heard Ashstar's announcement of a Clan meeting. Getting up from where he sat, Smoketail began to leave the den, but made sure to wait for Spiritwhisker to also leave before he sat down underneath his leader's announcement-spot. "You coming?" The smokey-tailed tom inquired, a bit impatiently.

Cloudypaw followed behind Heathersmoke and beside Oakpaw, sniffing at the air and watching her surroundings. She made sure to walk lightly on her paws in case any prey was nearby. Ashpaw had indeed hear the tom, sadly she was unsure if she was aloud to talk during a meeting that Ashstar was calling, she had manners of course and felt nervous. She didn't want to be embarrassed and after being told to shut up by one of her older peers. That wouldn't look good for Ashpaw, instead she gave the other apprentice a quick glance while ducking her head and greeting him with a quick yet quiet "Hello."

Sootnose nodded and bid farewell to Nightpaw, she watched him head over to Stormypaw and smiled slightly. She hoped he'd be able to make more relationships with his denmates than she had when she was his age. Her eyes flickered over to the apprentice's den even though most of the apprentice's were out and about now. She faintly wondered who her apprentice would end up paired with. She hoped someone he got along with.. As much as she disliked the way mates worked.. She still wanted an easy life for her apprentice. She moved off to the side and began to groom her fur quietly. She paused, glancing up as Ashstar called for a meeting. Her ears twitched slightly and she frowned slightly concerned. She didn't think they had any ceremonies planned.. Except maybe Cinderpaw.. But she wasn't around.. So had something happened? She scooted closer to the rest of the gathered cats and looked up quietly.

"My patrol was.. interesting.." he frowned lowering his voice "We saw some rogues.. I think they were talking to one of our clanmates.. But Ashstar showed up and they left after that. It just didn't sit well with me." he said before he sighed and shrugged. "But i'm probably just on edge for no reason. I just don't like the thought of them being in our territory or around it."

Ashstar watched as the clan gathered around. He noticed a few cats were missing but figured there were enough cats to still make the announcement. "In case you haven't already heard..." The tom began, the tip of his tail twitched irritably. "We had an encounter with a group of rogues." His eyes narrowed as he continued, "Dapplednose will be increasing the number of patrols that are sent out." The leader glanced over at his mate for a moment. "If anyone catches a sign of them hanging around the border, you are to immediately inform either the deputy or myself." Signaling the end of his announcement, he dipped his head. "That is all for now."

The tom turned to get a better view of Ashstar. He wondered what could be going on. This wasn't his usual call for a ceremony or a normal meeting. Once the leader grew silent, waiting for the clan to gather, he turned to look at Stormypaw. The tom shook his head. "I don't have any plans either." He followed the tom's gaze back to the leader. At the mention of rogues hanging around the territory, his dark amber eyes widened before glancing at Stormypaw to see his reaction.
