As Nightscar began coddling and grooming her kits, Dovetail narrowed her eyes. Her tail twitched with aggravation and her neck fur bristled softly. A strange scent was coming from the deputy, familiar but something she couldn't place. Then - the deputy fell asleep, around one of her kits. Her defensive motherly nature came out, and she scooped Thornkit, Spiderkit, Creamkit and Sweetkit close to her with her tail, and nudged them to the nursery. 'Come on you four, I'll let you try some of this thrush. You can use the feathers in your nest to make it softer. Treekit will join us soon.'

The small tom kit stared at Nightscar, confused at what the deputy was doing. Then, his mother came over, nudging him to the nursery. She looked normal, but her tone was slightly more defensive. Was she alright? With a worried glance, and then a shrug, Spiderkit trotted back to the nursery, making sure Creamkit and Sweetkit, as young as they were, weren't having trouble following. 'Come on guys! We can get the best feathers and play with the other ones - it's great fun!'

Silverstar
Female, 2 Years, 2 Months. Tags : Foxtuft, Tigerpaw, Wolfpaw.

Silverstar neatly wrapped her tail around her paws. Foxtuft was watching the nursery, Tigerpaw and Wolfpaw were chatting, and the camp was busy, the air crackled with excitement.

Thornkit
Male, 1 Month. Tags : Treekit, Sweetkit, Creamkit, Spiderkit, Dovetail

Thornkit chewed the tough flesh of the - Thrush, was it? I’ll just say it’s a bird, he decided. Once he and his littermates finished the chewy bird, they all playfully batted at the feathers.

Foxtuft
Male, 4 Years, 11 Months. Tags : Dovetail, Treekit, Sweetkit, Creamkit, Spiderkit, Thornkit

Foxtuft entered the camp with a large trout in his mouth. He proudly placed it on the pile, and stopped to look in the nursery. Dovetail was in there, along with all of her kits, sharing a large thrush. Oh, Dovetail. I can’t belive whatever Tom was the father of Spiderkit left you. He clearly took you for granted. Foxtuft envied the tom Dovetail has been mates with, he never should have left her! When will you notice how I feel about you? his tail drooped. A thought crashed into his head like thunder. Thornkit - the new arrival, looked an awful lot like Foxtuft - which was probably why he got a few looks when Thornkit arrived.

The young kit sat in the corner of the nursery alone, she was playing with a piece of string she found. It probably belongs to the Twolegs she thought. She stared at all the kits playing together and sighed. Being a former ShadowClan member I guess I don't matter as much to them she thought once again.

She watched them frolic in the feathers, smiling proudly. They'd all taken the thrush well, even Creamkit and Sweetkit, though they'd not had much before they'd had to stop. There was a little left, which Dovetail moved to save for Treekit. Speaking of - the kit was playing with some small rope piece. 'Treekit!' She called. 'Come over and have some thrush. I managed to save it. I need to introduce you to Thornkit, as I'm not sure you've met him yet.' A feeling of being watched, and Dovetail saw Foxtuft out the corner of her eye, watching.

Spiderkit finished his piece quickly, before rushing to jump into the pile of feathers that had been plucked. He loved feathers, though the birds much less as they had sharp beaks and claws which hurt to touch. He sneezed some of the smaller feathers away and beamed at his littermates.

The little kit stayed in her loner corner. She carried on playing with the string. "No thanks..." She mewed to Dovetail then slowly turned her back on her. I wish I had a mother and father... Or at least know who they are.. She sighed.

* the tom sighed and got up and walked out of the nursery after saying something to dovetail * " you're just like the rest of the warriors here thinking i'm gonna hurt the kits.... aren't you well its not my fault that i was born in bloodclan ok! " * he teared up and walked out of the nursery crying * * he padded out of camp then layed in the clearing and cried to himself softly *

The little kit got up walked out of the nursery and headed for Nightscar. She licked his chin and snuggled next to him, she started to purr. "I know how it feels to be rejected because your from a different clan.." She hesitated then carried on "but I'm only little and know not nearly as much as you" She smiled. "Though you may look down to me, I look up to you, and I smile when I see your face. All I want is a family.. If I had the choice of my parents one of them would be you." She stopped talking as she started to drift off into a sleep, cuddled next to Nightscar.

She smiled. "We aren't too different" She mewed, then she yawned and fell fast asleep next to him. She smiled in her sleep. Her small fangs showing. It was kinda cute to look at because you didn't see her smile much.
