Finally, he felt that he had enough strength to move. As he stood up, another, larger fox appeared from the undergrpwth. Thornstep tensed, but he soon realized that this had probably been why the first fox had been barking. Perhaps they were going to help? He looked at the foxes, then gave a pointed glance at Beestrike and the coyote. "You have to help her!"

He almost cried out in relief, but stopped himself, and so only let out a relieved sigh. He sat down again, before letting out a gruff sound as his neck began to ache once more. What a pain. "I'm so glad you're ok." he managed to tell her, his voice very quiet. He had never been so relieved, and yet, he had never been in so much pain. Not since the last time he had died, anyway.
