BeaverStep dipped his head at WildFern respectively. "I'll keep my eye out for him," he meowed and started to walk backwards a couple of steps. He then looked back at Tansy. "I'll talk to you later than I guess Tansy," he meowed before turning around. The tom trotted calmly over to the camp entrance, disappearing between the two large rocks.

A couple of fox lengths away from the camp entrance BeaverStep perked his ears up and twitched his nose. He caught a light scent of herbs mixed with cats scent. GrayCloud and ApplePaw. They must have gone out to collect herbs after WindTail went out, he guessed. The timing made their scent stronger. After moving a bit away from their scent track BeaverStep caught another one. WindTail this time. BeaverStep decided he would follow WindTail and on the way catch prey.

WildFern
WildFern dipped her head to the tom, watching him pad away. She probably needed to go hunting herself soon. The deputy turned her head back to Tansy."Now, where were we again?" She continued the conversation.

Tansy
Tansy nodded to the tom, watching him leave. She lifted her head to look up at WildFern, smiling lightly."Oh, something about StarClan?" She meowed, not too sure herself.

BeaverStep walked along a narrow path through the forest. Carved by generations of cats. He felt the flattened ground under his paws as he calmly marched around trees and bushes. While he made sure not to lose WindTail's scent he also made sure to pay close attention to everything else around. To be honest he was more focused on hunting prey then hunting his clan mate. He sort of expected to stumble upon WindTail. Though, he might not even be in the forest longer. He could have taken a route back to camp. Nevertheless, BeaverStep would still look out for the warrior. Hunt first though.

From instinct BeaverStep crouched as soon as he heard leaves being pushed out of the way. A small animal was quickly running from the warrior. He scented mouse, but there was no longer any point following after the critter as it had already run out of sight and hid. It had seen him before he had noticed it. BeaverStep needed to concentrate or else he would be coming back empty pawed.

Once he focused properly he caught the scent of a squirrel and was already following it.

WindTail
The tom had been hunting this whole time after he left camp. He had done pretty well by catchin a plump hare, a squirrel and a couple of mice. Right now WindTail was resting under an oak tree, taking some time for himself.

WildFern
"StarClan, right, right." WildFern murmured, thinking about what else to say."I think I've said all I can about it." The deputy murmured after a bit of thinking.

Tansy nodded, an akward pause following."Well... What now?" She finally asked after a bit of hesitation.

BeaverStep kept in safe range away from the squirrel when he finally caught up to it. He kept low and hidden. BeaverStep was determined to catch this critter. He focused all his attention towards his target. Even if a badger came up behind the warrior he wouldn't notice.

After watching the animal hunt for it's own meal for a couple of minutes BeaverStep finally saw his opening. The squirrel had ventured farther away from the trees in it's search for trees. Since a squirrel's quick escape route is trees it would be dumb of BeaverStep to attack when it's back is up right against one. BeaverStep crept forward his shoulders sharp and sturdy. He narrowed his eyes before jumping out and pouncing on the squirrel, killing it quickly. BeaverStep thanked StarClan for the prey before burying it. He moved on quickly to find more prey.

BeaverStep had managed to get a vole not longer after he had caught the squirrel. Though after that he hadn't been as lucky. BeaverStep was walking by a large oak tree, remembering WindTail. "Where is he?" he mumbled to himself, not even realizing WindTail on the other side of the tree.

Graycloud wondered if it'd be worth it to pick more herbs. There would be more herbs, but she'd have to make more then one trip to carry it back to camp. There weren't too many groups of unpicked left, so she might as well gather what she could. Maybe if she compressed them enough on a single leaf, and just carried that, she could take it all back to camp in one haul anyway.

WindTail
The toms ears perked at the sound of movement. Very quietly, he got up from his resting place, taking careful steps behind the tree. He's surprised to find BeaverStep there, but quickly covers his surprise with his usual calm gaze."Out hunting?" He questions, taking a seat.

ApplePaw picked as many of the leaves as she thought was necessary. She found a larger leaf and set all the blackberry leaves down on top. When she was finished she moved on.

Like she had said to GrayCloud, she was slowly moving towards the creek in her search. Once she reached the water she looked down at it with deep eyes. Her senses following the flow of the water. ApplePaw dropped the herbs a safe distance away from the rushing water before picking up a tiny twig. She smiled and turned back to creek. The twig slipped into the water with a low plop. ApplePaw sat down gently and watched the twig pulled away gently until it was out of sight. She loved to do that. BeaverStep was the one that had started with it and then passed it on to her.

BeaverStep's claws unsheathed and he looked over his shoulder surprised at the cat. His expression softened and his claws were sheathed once again. "WindTail," he meowed and turned around to face the warrior completely. "Ya, I'm hunting," he replied, wondering why the tom was sitting by the tree. Maybe just relaxing for a bit. "Where have you been?" he asked.

BeaverStep was still calming down from the surprise. His shoulders were still tense.

Lightningstar

Lightningstar watched as Wildfern talked with Tansy. "This should be good, Wildfern will tell Tansy what she needs to know. Thank you Wildfern for stepping in for me, I hope you're still deputy when it comes time for me to join star clan." Lightingstar thought to herself before gaze turned to Shadowpelt. It wasn't hard to tell he was upset. Lightningstar let out a sigh. "I hope they get over it soon." Lightningstar thought before leaping down from high rock and padding into her den.

Toebiter

Toebiter padded out of the barn and looked around. She liked being outside, it was a nice day. Toebiter scented the air wondering if Loki was around. Toebiter lowered her tail slightly when his scent was old. Toebiter continued to pad closer to the forest, even more slowly as she got closer.

Loki sheathed and unsheathed his claws calmly into the the dirt of his den. He was lying in a ball with his tail curled over his back legs and his head against the wall of the den. There wasn't a lot of room, but he tried to make it work.

The tom was bored. He had nothing to do. He was just there sleeping and it made him frustrated. Loki was itching to go have some fun. Maybe play around with some squirrel or some stupid dog. Or if he was lucky a cat. He bet he could find a good victim in the Clan territory. He gave a mischievous smirk, but it faded once he thought about it. Is he actually brave enough to do that? Maybe not.

Loki sighed sharply and got up. He squeezed out of the old fox den. The tom looked from side to side before dashing away and up a tree. He climbed and climbed until he was up to a height over his comfort zone. That's just how he liked it.
