It had taken a few seconds to register that his apprentice had came diving towards him, with all the time the he had left, IceRift had lessened the tense that was running through his muscles but knowing that his apprentice's claws were sheathed, gave him more time to react rather than tucking his chin in towards his chest. Lowering his tail downwards slightly so that the apprentice was not able to grab on to it as another form of attack, he then acted like something had knocked him straight off his paws, pushing his legs up to his chest gravity had then pulled his entire body towards the ground. In an instant his stomach slammed towards the ground first, and with this being done. He ascended upwards again and spun around to face PoppyPaw "I didn't mean exactly that, but you did catch me off guard. So good job on that, if you had noticed carefully I performed a different kind of duck there, that is to be used mostly if you had a smaller opponent coming after you, as the power in their hind legs is not as strong as a warrior's, meaning that they'd be lower down when they attack you. Besides, I will teach you that duck afterwards. We just have to start off simple, so. I'm going to pounce high in the air, but leave my tail down downwards more. If my tail tip hit's your face or skims the top of your head. You need to be quicker." He explained, before searching his apprentice's eyes for any kind of current emotion. "Oh and, if I'm going too fast. Tell me." He assured, wanting his apprentice to get the best of the time they'd have together in a training session. Each one had an objective to be hit, and he'd rarely stop until that objective would've been achieved.

History:
Foxkit was born to Frosteyes and Mousestripe along with her sister and brother, Applekit and Firekit. The three kits were all shades of red, from ginger to russet. They all resembled their father, not Frosteyes.
Foxkit was always calm and gentle, off on her own. She was a bit of a loner. She kept away from others and did her own thing. It didn't relly bother any of the other kits. She and Firekit, however, were as close as close could be. Applekit didn't really feel like her sibling.
When the time came, she was made Foxpaw. The three were mentored to Brackenfire, Brindlenose, and Russetwing respectively. It was a happy coincidence that Brackenfire and Russetwing were mates, and often trained Foxpaw and Firepaw together. Brindlenose and Applepaw trained separately.
It came time for their first battle.mteh tree were ecstatic when they were chosen to fight,and fought hard they did. Later, after sustaining severe injuries to the skull, Firepaw passed away. Foxpaw was devastated. She ended up growing closer to Applepaw
Again, another milestone marked their lives. They became warriors. Foxpaw was given the name Foxcloud, the -cloud reflecting her happy, calm, breezy nature. Applepaw was named Applenose.
She finally told Crowstar how she feels after the Clans' fall.
For half a moon, she was trapped in a tunnel with her sister. Applenose died, but she managed to escape. After doing so, she's been looking for her home.
She became mates with Crowstar just before the battle that ended IceClan. He soon lost his life, and she was left all on her own once again.

Poppypaw was utterly confused when her mentor dropped to the ground as if gravity had sucked him down. She halted as he spun around to look and talk to her, and she was thankful for the praise but she knew that she had done terribly and that had not been what her mentor had wanted. Great going, mousebrain. There are kits that can fight better then you. Poppypaw nearly zoned off in her own mind but snapped back. It seemed that Icerift had given up on the earlier move and they were moving on to a new one entirely. "O-okay." She meowed as he finished explaining, and she back up a bit so that her mentor could begin.

(All acepted except for Iceflame, Cas. We already have a cat with the prefix Ice, could you change his name? Sorry.)

"You seem lost in thought." IceRift stated, but with a flick of his tail he just gave out a chuckle. "I just want you to remember. Mistakes are fine, we're here to learn." With that being said, IceRift had outstretched one of his legs, and placed the majority of his frontal weight on the one paw that was on the ground. "Okay. I'm going to jump now." He warned his apprentice, mostly so that she wouldn't do it too early or if she had zoned out slightly, it'd snap her back awake. With that being said, he then kicked off from his haunches in what could be considered a petite comparison to a sprint, his paw pads had felt the earth beneath them and in a split second he had kicked upward just before landing nose to nose with PoppyPaw. IceRift slowly let his tail fall, knowing that his landing would be off since he'd not have as much balance.

Tigerfang blinked, stunned at how fast Creampelt had caught the fish. He tried to scoop one out of the water, but he was too slow and the fish swam away.

Poppypaw heard her mentor's statement to get ready, and she braced herself a bit. In but a second the tom had started. The grey apprentice ducked down as fast as she could, which was fairly difficult with her long legs, but she made due, hoping that she had been fast enough.

IceRift landed on the ground, and immediately turned around to his apprentice. During his leap, he had felt nothing at all even skim his tail tip."Great job, you timed it correctly." He applauded before another spark had lit up in his mind. "Since we've done that, I can teach you the other one if you like." He offered. Mostly wanting to observe his apprentice more to try and determine what her strengths could be during a battle situation.
