Timberpaw sat next to his old friend's body, head bowed and eyes squeezed shut. What- ego had killed Aspenpaw? Why?

Crowflight came into the nursery ears flicking up I'm getting before pulling back again into their usual, annoyed looking state. "What happened exactly," he demanded, noting silently that ever cat but Thrushfur was bear Breezekit.

Thrushfur nodded at Spottedkit without a word. Then to Crowflight she sighed. "There well probably be an announcement later..."

Fawnkit glanced at Feverkit, Greykit, and Spottedkit sadly before passing by the black tom that was Crowflight and out into the camp. Was Breezekit going to die, too?

Spottedkit skipped out of the nursery into the camp.

Volantstar looked over at Sparrowcatcher who had finally emerged. "Get Breezekit, we'll be leaving now." She mewed, and padded over to Sparrowcatcher. "You're coming with me, Ravenfrost, and Oakfang, we're leaving now." She mewed to Sparrowcatcher hardily, padding over to Bristlepelt she sighed. "I don't know when we'll be back, Bristlepelt, we're going out to see if we can find any more information about this infection, you're in charge, of course. Warrex is to stay here too, treat him well, as a guest, make sure nothing happens to him, he knows a lot." Volantstar mewed. "He can be useful." Volantstar said.

Ravenfrost dipped his head before passing off into the nursery part Crowflight and lifting Breezekit from a distraught Thrushfur. "I'm sorry," he need softly before emerging slowly and making his way back to Volantstar.

OOC: Sorry, didn't know what else to post.

"Okay," Sparrowcatcher agreed hesitantly. His tail swept across the ground as he watched Ravenfrost approach and could not help but stare at Breezekit with wide eyes. Maybe...maybe they shouldn't let him turn. But of course, he couldn't say that aloud to the others. It was a kit, for StarClan's sake. That was nothing short of murder. Wasn't there a chance that Breezekit...might not turn? But Aspenpaw had, just like that. It was awful.

Bristlepelt nodded to Volantstar. "Okay. Got it." He took a few steps over to Sparrowcatcher. He wished the whole thing hadn't happened. "Be careful, alright?" he whispered to the tom. He wasn't sure what else to say.

"Yeah, I will." Sparrowcatcher said distractedly, not taking his eyes off the infected kitten. Then, his green gaze slid over to Bristlepelt uncomfortably. "Uh, look, about before...you don't think...?" He gestured to Thunderstorm with a paw and his brow furrowed worriedly. The tom certainly was difficult. He would use almost any excuse to criticize Bristlepelt's role as deputy. Not only was Bristlepelt an incredibly young deputy, but now this? As if the whole situation wasn't bad enough, they'd have difficulties within their own Clan and own clan members. Out of the corner of his eye he could see the young medicine cat, Stripedpaw, looking worriedly over at Ravenfrost and Breezekit.

"Stripedpaw, could you get nee some moss and carefully put some moss in Breezekit's mouth?" Ravenfrost suggests, lifting his head and giving the apprentice a look for help.

Breezekit shudders a bit and flexes his claws. A sudden urge to bite something washed over him in a quick, and obvious wave. Blinking, the kit licks his lips of the foaming drool that was form at the corners of his mouth. The tiny kitten glanced around. "Wh-whats going to hasten to me?"

OOC: I'm waiting for others to respond before I do but, by the way, the urge to kill doesn't come until they've died. They don't change directly into a zombie. The infection basically kills the victim and they don't have the urge to kill until they've reanimated. So basically they would just feel incredibly weak and close to death and there wouldn't be a lot of changes in behaviour.
Then again, that's only if we're following The Walking Dead. I suppose since it's cats it isn't going to be EXACTLY the right rules(because Bristlepelt killed Aspenpaw by clawing open his throat when, in TWD, you have to damage their brain to kill them). But just clearing this up XD
