A little nervously, the apprentice gave a very small nod. Whisking her tail behind her she sprang up and began to push ahead. The woods were thick and she could scent the warm scents of prey about. But she wasn't hunting for prey. Curiously, she turned her head. There, in the far distance and shrouded by a bunch of brambles was a crop of yellow flowers.
"Over there. Looks prickly, though." Stripedpaw jerked her head in the direction.

Applestep blinked suddenly, very startled. She glanced at the tom, whiskers twitching in a fluster. "Oh," she mewed, a little unsure. Suddenly, her voice was very small and quiet. "Well, uhm, that's nice," The she-cat tried for a purr but she was so flustered it could barely come out.

Rapidstep nodded as he saw the yellow. He grunted as he stepped forward and his paw was greeted by a sharp thorn. He muttered a string of cures under his breath as he continued. He wasn't a small cat at all so this was tough for him but he managed to swipe a claw out and grab half of the yellow flowers closest to him. He looked back at the apprentice, yellow flowers lightly hanging in his mouth. "Do we need more?"

Bristlepelt followed back them back to camp and watched as they approuched Volantstar. "We found the badger. He got trapped in a twoleg thing," he started off the report not bothering to give Thunderstorm a chance to speak.

Thunderstorm glared at him and looked to his sister.

Echostorm let out a laugh of joy and nuzzled her.

Silentwhispered smiled awkwardly and looked at his paws.

Stripedpaw glanced at the amount he had gathered and gave a nod. "That should do. Did you get a thorn in your paw? I can help with that, you know." She offered, a little shyly. Her whiskers twitched as she glanced at the tom; he might not take too well to a helping paw.

Applestep for a moment did not say anything--quite unusual for her--and then let out a mew. "Perhaps we could go hunting together?" The peach coloured tabby offered bashfully.

OOC: I was going to have possibly Sparrowcatcher have a crush on him but, of course, he would probably be turned down and might turn to Reveriedaze.

"Well, come on then !" The peach coloured she-cat mewed, whisking her tail. She took a few steps towards the camp entrance and then looked back over her shoulder expectantly. "Coming?"
