Dovepaw and Leafpaw both poked their heads out.

"Hey!" mewed Brambletail. "Guess what!"

[foxes.]

"What?" asked Dovepaw.

[SingTheRain]

"Forestheart is expecting kits!" he blurted out. Then he looked at Forestheart. "Sorry, that just kind of came out...I wan't sure if you wanted to tell them, or...yeah, sorry."

[foxes.]

Forestheart laughed. "It's fine." she said.

Dovepaw and Leafpaw's eyes widened. "Congratulations!" they said in unison. "But why are you telling us?" asked Leafpaw.

Now it was Brambletail's turn to laugh. " 'Cause you apprentices always love to spread stuff around." He grinned. "I'd think something was wrong with you if you didn't!"

[foxes.]

They nodded modestly. "We do have a record for doing that." she turned to Dovepaw. "Let's start with the newer warriors!" she said.

Dovepaw nodded in agreement. They both shot off in the direction of the warriors den.

Darkdream crawled inside of the deputy den. She curled up and lied there

"Should we leave the rest to them?" Brambletail asked his mate, still chuckling.
