Sharpclaw lifted his head, his jade eyes glaring at the cat in front of him, The large cat sat down and let out a low meow "Morning.". He flicked his ears back and kept glaring.

Whitecloud jumped up and landed in a cloud of dust "HIIIIIIIIIIIII"She mewed in reply. She flicked her tail like a dog and smiled constantly, Her blue eyes watched Reedwhisker eagerly and her latte tinted fur was slowly bouncing in the late morning air.

"Why are you glaring?" She mewed

"Hi" He mewed acting like she was crazy he thought

Silverpaw, by now in the fight's climaxing point, charged at Grinner, although she was sure to keep her claws sheathed in case she thought she liked this foreigner. That was not likely, as rogues were not exactly her cup of tea even though she'd been one for a long time, so within seconds she unsheathed those sharp points of glinting blade and rushed into battle without so much as a thought. Why, she taunted to him with her eyes and not her mouth, you're weaker than most rogues. I though you stronger, what with you mutilating Duskpaw...but no, you're as strong as a common kittypet. She sneered at the reference; she had always hated the ridiculously overweight kitties that basked in sunlight all day seemingly trying to taunt her as they flicked their tongues with rude gestures and lapped away at their fresh water and Twoleg food like they had all the time in the world.

Loudpaw nodded and did as he was instructed, crouching down till his belly fur nearly brushed the ground. The motion was somewhat familiar to him and his weight fell into an even balance. "I think I've done this before. But it's clearly been a while." he mewed, looking up at Mintsplash.

The warrior nods understandingly. He did seem to have the position correct. Maybe just a few adjustments would perfect it. "Okay, try to keep your tail lower, about level with your body."Mintsplash instructs.

Shadowpaw locks himself in place, determined to control his will to join in. Eaglestar had said to not interfere,and this apprentice wasn't going to mess up on the first day. This would be good experience to learn from observing, and not acting. Maybe I can join another day...

Arcade slowly sniffed along the ground and caught a whiff of two cats. He quickly crawled through the bushes and leapt over a log. He landed in front of Naomi and Flutterpaw

Whitecloud smiled widely and bounced around him.

Redpaw dipped her head, feeling the disappointment radiating off her mentor. "Of course" She hurried over to the medicine cat den to find out if anyone was inside and trotted over to where she smelt Shiverwhisker. "Shiverwhisker we need help, Echostep's hurt" She told him when she got his attention.{{I need to find a medicine cat, who has a free one?Thanks ~Willow }}

Shiverwhisker poked his head from out of where he was currently storing the herbs they had. His calm green eyes reflected everything around. He'd heard a call for a medicine cat, but didn't know if he was just hearing things or what. Getting to his paws, he padded over to the thorn entrance and looked around, seeing nothing so far.

Loudpaw nodded and did as he was told. He lowered his tail and stilled its wriggling. He looked up at Mintsplash. "Anything else I need to correct?" he mewed, twitching an ear. He seemed to be becomeing a bit more open with this she-cat as his mentor. He had hardly taken notice of his scars since they began their training.

Foxstride flicked her tail, considering the deal carefully, could showing this pet where the ragweed grew be a good idea? She really did like the idea of that beautiful ring around her neck... Foxstride looked up at the tabby and grinned at her, "Deal, but be warned pet. It is a days trip to the ragweed, plus I will be picking up the other ingredients," she cocked her head at the tabby, "So pet, you up for it? And since we shall become traveling buddies might as well know what to call each other, huh? Just call me Foxstride, Rogue extraordinaire." Foxstride chuckled at her joke and waited for the pet's reply.

Flutterpaw's eyes sparkled at the thought of having something all her own, and she pondered hard. "I know where to find some beautiful Sparrow's feathers, if you would be interested in those." She smiled, looking at Naomi. She jumped as Foxstride spoke over her shoulder, her cardinal's feather coming loose as she scattered to grab it again, nearly having to pounce on it to keep the light object from drifting away. As she settled back down, now feeling nervous in front of the other rouge, she tucked the scarlet feather back behind her ear. "I killed a blue jay earlier, which I haven't taken back for the elders yet... Would you like a few of the feathers off of it and my sparrow?" She asked quietly and respectively, the reflection of the key and chain dangling from Naomi's paws showing in her eyes.

Naomi grinned. "Naomi." she introduced herself with a nod. "And don't worry about the distance. I'm no stranger to travel." She glanced back at Flutterpaw. "One moment," she excused herself, turning to listen to the apprentice's offer. She smiled. "Of course, dear. Why don't you go fetch those feathers while I put that necklace together for you?"

Foxstride stood swiftly and smirked at the two cats, "Well, ladies, I would love to stay but I have to run a few errands before we go, Naomi." Foxstride glanced around for a place to met back up with the tabby, "I guess met me back here in a few, I shouldn't be long." Foxstride cocked her head at the pet waiting for a answer.

Mintsplash purrs happily. "Perfect! Now, I'll pretend that I'm a mouse. Show me how you stalk, please." the she-cat meows, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. I think I'll like teaching Loudpaw. He just seems to need to laugh some more. I'll make his training as fun as possible. After all, young cats would be willing to learn if they were given a smile every day. The only issue was when they actually had to fight in battles. Then the young cats would have to accept pain and harshness. At that moment, Mintsplash finally took notice of his scars.This cat has obviously been through more than me. This..Grinner cat must be vicious. The gray warrior broke out a smile, cracking her open from her thoughts.
