Forestheart padded alongside her mate. "Are you okay?" she asked, concerned.

"Better than ever." Brambletail gritted his teeth fo a moment, then was able to smile. "Where should we start?"

[foxes.]

Forestheart shrugged. "The apprentice den? They can spread the word. Fast." she suggested.

[SingTheRain]

"Good idea. They do like to gossip." he chuckled. Another step caused a shock of pain to run up his leg. He winced, but kept walking.

[foxes.]

She nodded. She looked at his paw, then said "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked concernedly.

[SingTheRain]

"Well...maybe not." Brambletail admitted. "I'll be fine, though."

[foxes.]

Very aware that her mate would probably refuse going to the medicine cat, she sighed. "Just tell me if you need to rest." she said.

[SingTheRain]

"Don't worry, I will." Brambletail replied. He knew his mate was concerned, but he should be the one concerned about her, not the other way around. He had a sore paw and she was expecting kits. There was a big difference in that.

[foxes.]

"Okay." she said. They arrived at the tree den (apprentices den) and slithered in.

"Hello?" Brambletail called out. "Anybody home?"
