Leah flinched at the snarl. "I'm Leah." she spat. She hesitated for a moment--telling him she'd been stealing from them for moons was certainly not a good idea. "And I'm fleeing the fire, like all of you." she said instead. It was at least partially true. "Look, just--just take the stupid bird and get off me." she growled, squirming. She flexed her paws, wishing she still had her claws. She still wouldn't have a chance in a real fight, but at least she might be able to distract him long enough to escape. As it was, she was pathetically helpless.
