Feather that glides on wind - Feather - Tagged: Whisper & Water - Sailor

Turning to Water, Feather smiled gratefully at the medic. ''Thank you, you are terribly skilled.'' She certainly was the sailor remarked. And there was no doubting her skills would come in handy for moons to come, particularly during these trying times. Turning his attention back to the starving Whisper, Feather's eyes softened. She was beautiful and he'd do anything he could to keep her and Flame safe.

Gasping with loud relief to be on solid ground, Flame almost felt the need to kiss the dusty clifftop. Squinting with pain, Flame craned her neck weakly to look about the gaggle of cats. A gaggle of heroes, Flame thought happily. Even Flower, especially Flower! The apprentice had been so strangely freaked out but she pulled through! ''T-thank you everyone.'' Flame mumbled, before wincing sharply in pain. ''Now could you heal me, P-please?'' Flame begged.

''She's safe, she's safer.'' Crow mumbled with relief. Flame was on stable ground and that was a major step forward from the steep and unsteady cliff face or the little strand of sand that the tide had threatened to swallow. All that was left was for Seagull to mend her terribly mangled leg. Turning to Seagull, the black apprentice motioned for the field medic to act fast. ''Flame's paralyzed, it's the legs.'' she informed. ''the back ones.

Scatter chuckled slightly. ''From a fellow outcast?'' She replied, shaking her head. Eagle was not the brightest star in the sky, that was for sure. ''Try again, my dear.'' the patched she-cat urged. ''You're not even close, Eagle.''

Shouting in surprise, Bone wheeled around, huffing in annoyance. ''Howl!'' She then pounced on her brother. ''You know I hate it when you do that...'' the scrawny kitten whined. ''It's not funny, Howl...''

Beacon noticed Apollo staring at her, her skin heating up with slight embarrassment. She didn't say anything though, as admittedly she enjoyed the tom paying attention to her. In fact, the confidence boost made her walk turn into somewhat of a strut. "Yeah, it really is. I really like going out and exploring at night." She purred, looking over at Apollo. "Spending it with others makes it a lot better, though." She gave him a playful wink.

Gale saw her ears fall back with nervousness. "Well... Yes... They do think you're dead. But perhaps it wouldn't be too farfetched to tell them you survived!" He said with hopefulness. He saw how happy and excited she was at the mention of returning to the tribe, he could only hope it wouldn't end bad for her.

Howl's flank bounced up and down as he silently laughed, playfully kicking at Bone's stomach as she pounced on him. It wasn't funny? It seemed pretty funny to him!

Jackal climbed up to the top of the cliff after everyone else, relief crashing over him as he noticed Seagull. He wasn't the surgeon or any of his apprentices, but at least he could do something. After taking a few moments to catch his breath, he approached Wave. Her slipping bothered him for some reason, and he knew good and well that sometimes cats would fake wellness to ward off worry. "Wave, are you alright?" He asked her softly.

Seagull didn't say a word to anyone. He tuned out Crow as closely examined Flame's legs as he considered what to do from here. He let out a soft 'ah.' "I have an idea that might work, I'll be right back." As fast as he could manage, he dashed off with an awkward stride. Soon enough, he returned with two sticks, a palm leaf with poppy seed inside, and a wad of moss. He first cleaned off any possible scrapes with the wet moss ball, then pushed it aside. He set down each stick on the outside of her leg, using strands from the palm leaf to secure the sticks to her legs. He then nudged two poppy seeds to her. "Now, eat these. They'll make you tired, but they'll take the pain away." He sat down as his own leg was killing her, still gazing at her legs as he considered other things he could down. He couldn't quite tell right now if the paralysis was from a fracture in her spine, or if it were her legs that were the problem. If it were just her legs, potentially, she could walk on her own again. He hoped it was just her legs. "You're going to be okay." He tried to push aside his own worries for now, and focus on giving Flame a peace of mind in the state she's currently in.

Crystal glanced up at the darkening sky, huffing as he stood up abruptly. Silently apologizing to Seashell for ditching her, he bolted out of the camp as discretely as he could. Nighttime was the time of adventuring, he wouldn't dare let time slip past while playing with a little kit. He took a few brief moments to consider his options, then hurriedly headed toward the forest. Perhaps he'd find enough time to reach the lake and go for a swim, which sounded pretty nice around this time. He could only hope that nobody would interrupt him.

"This is where they disappeared." Leopard said, anguish tinging his tone. He took a deep breath and cleared his mind. "Here, let's have a plan. I'll search the forest nearby, and you can search the den." Leopard set off to the forest, not really expecting any refusal.

The ginger and white tabby she-cat said nothing as Shadow threatened the apprentice. She could take care of herself by now, and she would've preferred no interruptions in a battle.

She mumbled to herself, then jumped into the water. she was suddenly swooped off her feet and into a strong current. "Kite!" She meowed before going under the water. She was useless at swimming.
