aaAAH I FORGOT ABOUT THIS SO SORRY
vote goes to orangepelt))
Silverkit blinked as accusations and murmurs flew through the air. Unlike her denmate (or sister? idk) Poppykit, she didn't want to know or do anything involving this... matter. She walked a few inches out of the nursery. "Poppykit," the kit mewed softly. "Let's listen to Lilyheart."

Orangepelt
As Orangepelt waited for her to leave, he sighed about the whereabouts of Flintpaw. What if he was really dead, and the murderer wasn't Shadewave themself? Shadewave seemed like a legit suspect due to how Ashtree was murdered. Orangepelt shrugged and decided to leave the compound first. As Orangepelt padded slowly through the ruins, a horrifying smell came out of the blue.
Was Flintpaw really murdered?
"Oh God no. Don't tell me...."

Snowstorm eyed the forest ground as she sniffed it. The elder
went outside for once in a long time, and she loved it..! It wa
s quite nice to be able to idle in the breeze without having ev
ery joint in her body ache, so much so that she almost forgot
about the murder of Ashtree. She was forgetful from the time
she accidentally fell off a cliff and hit her head and lost all h
er memories, but that wasn't going to stop her from remembe
ring her Clan lifestyle. Therefore, she found RiverClan and joi
ned it. ..Then, peace was disrupted again with the new death
of Ashtree, the exile.. Snowstorm huffed and went back towa
rds camp, tired as can be.
{um.. Lillyshadow?}

Pansyleaf followed Orangepelt past the camp boundaries and caught Flintpaw's faint scent, along with an unidentifiable one--the killer. "It seems as though Flintpaw went to...the falls?" That actually made sense. If the killer had gotten to him, then the falls would be an easy way of, well, disposing of someone. "Let's follow the trail, but don't get too close to the edge." The pieces were all starting to come together. If Flintpaw had been lured too close to the edge, he could have fallen, with or without intervention. And no one would have heard because of the noise of the waterfall and distance from camp. We should have protected them better! thought Pansyleaf regretfully. But the "protector" could also have been the killer... Yeah, but we'd have known, wouldn't we? It was no use thinking about the what could have beens. At the next half moon, she would try to convince the spirits to tell her the killer's name, if they knew who it was.

Orangepelt
" This is terrible! WE NEED HE OTHERS TO KNOW THIS ASAP!! ", shrieked Orangepelt is terror, it had made the birds fly away. "Let's go. NOW. " Orangepelt ran for their clan territory with his heart beating a million miles per second. How would a tiny apprentice be dead now? It was clear that whoever had him killed knew that he was going to fish out them quickly..and it wasn't too soon until they would start the debate.
(RIP lil Orange ;.; }

Pansyleaf flinched when Orangepelt shrieked in terror as he understood the implications. She watched as he sprinted back to camp and hesitated for a moment. Should she follow? No, she would see this through.
Pansyleaf continued to follow Flintpaw's scent until it faded near the falls. She walked near the edge, careful not to stray too close. Though there was no body to be seen, the apprentice's scent had stopped near the edge and had drifted around. She whimpered, knowing the fate of the poor apprentice; he was dead, whether it was the fall that had killed him or drowing, they would likely never know. Work done, she sprinted back to camp, eager to get away from an area that almost seemed to be haunted.
When she arrived back at camp, she was out of breath. Pansyleaf rested for a moment before walking back to the group of warriors and her apprentice. "I followed Flintpaw's scent to the falls," she said, voice cracking with grief. Flintpaw had been sweet and bright, a cat who would have made a good warrior. "He definitely went over, and there was a second faded scent with him--the killer's scent."
