(Thistlekit and maplekit killed a snake and are now being told off by sandstar. Lunarwing has taken them back into the nursery and I think cats are just talking. I think you animals should have petalflower wake up.)

Frostkit- She padded after the other kits. Frostkit looked at her still sleeping mother and rolled her eyes. Turning around, frostkit looked up at Lunarwing and back at thistlekit and maplekit.

When the pretty grey apprentice glanced up to meet his gaze, Larkpaw quickly looked away, a bit unsure of himself. You mouse-brain, leave her alone. At least stop staring when you're supposed to focused on hunting for your clan! "I didn't eat either," he mewed to Leopardfang, "but yeah, I'll be fine. We'll be that much more motivated to hunt well!" The pale ginger tom purred, eager to get to where there would be prey to hunt. Trying not to seem too pleased when Fallenpaw moved closer to him and the warrior, he kept his eyes focused ahead on the forest. Larkpaw nodded when Leopardfang explained what they would be doing, and moved back to observe the two she cats as the warrior motioned for the other apprentice to come forward.

Lunarwing purred softly as she replied. "You both did an amazing job. Thistlekit, Maplekit. I doubt I could've killed a snake at your age," She meowed. "And I know it's upsetting that you were scolded for it, but it was just because we were worried."

Lunarwing laid her head on her paws, her tail wrapped around her kits. "I know we don't have to worry, but that doesn't mean I won't." She meowed, "You all mean so much to me." Lunarwing, for some reason, liked the feeling of having Maplekit in her family. Even though she wanted the best for her, and wanted her to be close to her own mother, the silver tabby wished the small cat was truly her kit. And she would definitely treat her like one, especially if her own mother wasn't taking much responsibility for her. Looking over, Lunarwing could see that Petalflower was still asleep, and most of her kits were definitely not with her.

Thistlekit crawled away from his mother carefully, sulking back towards the edge of the nursery. He stared around the cats dejectedly, angry for having been scolded for doing something warrior like. His pelt still bristled and annoyance still surged through his body. He glanced at Maplekit and silently thanked StarClan that she had been there, he knew he would have never killed the snake on his own but he would never admit it.

Adderbite nodded "Of course" he purred, getting to his paws as she turned to head down the rocky path. His paws tingled and his leg ached as fear crept over him. he his leg gave out, he would plummet to the bottom. Would he survive that? Even with the help of a medicine cat? Quickly he shut the thoughts from his mind and began leaping down slowly and carefully.

Mothpaw grinned, sprinting after Mistpaw. "Hey, slow down rabbit legs!"

Lunarwing glanced over at Thistlekit as he passed to the back of the nursery. He seemed like he wanted to be alone, so she left him, but the urge to comfort him was strong. Lunarwing had never expected she'd be a mother, but she loved it. She just wished she had more experience, the silver she-cat had no idea how to approach so many situations.

(It doesn't help that her son is no better than Thistleclaw. He's quite the trouble kit wth a very strong ambition.)

Thistlekit plopped down, his stomach resting on the cool hard ground. He was tired and frustrated and just wanted to be back out in the forest with Maplekit. Their wasn't enough to do in camp to cool the fire that raged in his heart. He stared half-heartedly towards his siblings all curled up in their mothers fur and scowled. He was a kit but he refused to be weak or needy like them.
