Silentvoice followed the scent trail of blood. It had to lead to the threat. Once he made it to the top of a clearing, he peered down to see a cat he didn't recognize with Roseheart's fluffballs. His ears perked up as he felt something come over him. He hadn't felt it before. His fur bristled, and he charged down towards them, claws unsheathed. He skidded to a halt right behind the stranger cat, his hackles raised. His blue gaze flicked to the kits as he counted them. They were there, except the one. He looked back at the rogue, ears pinning back.

He crawled away in fear of the rogue but at the same time shrank down at the smell of fox, he wanted to yell for Lightkit and his parents but he knew he could be killed if he did "Who's Willow?" He asked, bravely speaking up to the rogue.

He licked his wounds and darted out of camp ignoring the pain, then he spotted Lightkit "Lightkit! What happened to your brother? Where is he?" He said almost bursting into tears and anger he saw the blood on the ground, fresh.

"Oh. Well what was the point in taking me? My mother and father will only find me and then you'll be in big BIG trouble." He mewed in confusion "you'll only loose out, right?"

She jumped when she heard a voice and hopped into bush scaredly. "Da-daddy...?" Lightkit regonized her father,"follow." She sniffled, before taking her father to the cave.

"I'm so sorry, Berryfrost." He padded to her, meeting her halfway. "I needed to clear my head a little. My... loner instincts came back to me." He nuzzled her affectionately and rasped his tongue over her ears. "But I'm back now. And I won't leave"

Berryfrost looked at her mate, tears in her eyes. "You left me Featherstone, I told you how much I loved you and you disappeared. Everyone told me I was crazy for choosing you, that Swallowtail would be a better choice. But I loved you and didn't care what they said. Our kits are almost apprentices, and I'm surprised they remember you. Did you when miss them? Did you miss me?" She said, the words coming out quickly, the only thing that stopped her was the tears. As he licked her ear she took a step back, leaving a small space between them.
