Grinner looked over at Eaglestar as she spoke to him with her voice as usual towards him. He only could laugh at her question of desire, and answered with a voice that seemed on the line of sane and madness. "Well, I have a reason. Have you seen a cat before with such a growing power? Was it known? He could be a great partner to any cat with the power he has inside, and I want to make him a rouge. He could have great dangerous power inside and your clan has put a lock on it. What do you think Eaglestar? Do you think he should live for a danger he has inside his blood?" He asked as he questioned her. He knew if he could buy himself some time he could plan a good escape. Yet, this comment he made was true.suzhay wrote:Pebblerun had just missed Duskpaw and Raccoonstrike. She padded closer to the grass and lay low, peering into the clearing. Grinner had Duskpaw on the ground, but no cat was attacking him. Quietly, Pebblerun backed away. She moved around the grass until she was behind Grinner. Then, she padded closer to the clearing. She slowly rose her tail in the air for Eaglestar to see her. Then, she would wait for a small, insignificant signal.
"Duskpaw chose to join us." growled Eaglestar. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a tail above the grass. Pebblerun, she realized quickly. She carefully kept her eyes on Grinner, not wanting to give away the deputy's position. "I don't care about the power he has. He's one of ours now, and I will not allow you to hurt him again." she growled. She lashed her tail quickly behind her, as if in anger. She hoped Pebblerun would understand the signal.

She really did like the idea of that beautiful ring around her neck... Foxstride looked up at the tabby and grinned at her, "Deal, but be warned pet. It is a days trip to the ragweed, plus I will be picking up the other ingredients," she cocked her head at the tabby, "So pet, you up for it? And since we shall become traveling buddies might as well know what to call each other, huh? Just call me Foxstride, Rogue extraordinaire." Foxstride chuckled at her joke and waited for the pet's reply.goldenrose7 wrote:Flutterpaw's eyes sparkled at the thought of having something all her own, and she pondered hard. "I know where to find some beautiful Sparrow's feathers, if you would be interested in those." She smiled, looking at Naomi. She jumped as Foxstride spoke over her shoulder, her cardinal's feather coming loose as she scattered to grab it again, nearly having to pounce on it to keep the light object from drifting away. As she settled back down, now feeling nervous in front of the other rouge, she tucked the scarlet feather back behind her ear. "I killed a blue jay earlier, which I haven't taken back for the elders yet... Would you like a few of the feathers off of it and my sparrow?" She asked quietly and respectively, the reflection of the key and chain dangling from Naomi's paws showing in her eyes.
Naomi grinned. "Naomi." she introduced herself with a nod. "And don't worry about the distance. I'm no stranger to travel." She glanced back at Flutterpaw. "One moment," she excused herself, turning to listen to the apprentice's offer. She smiled. "Of course, dear. Why don't you go fetch those feathers while I put that necklace together for you?"

Leah squeaked and darted to the side, trying to avoid Sunpelt, but she wasn't fast enough. She dropped the bird as his paws hit her, pushing her to the ground. She struggled to escape, but he was too strong, and pinned her easily. She hissed furiously, though her eyes were wide with fear.

Pineclaw sighed. "Just...stay here. I'll have to get a patrol together to deal with this fox." he replied. The scent of blood drifted over to him, and his head shot up, fur bristling as he searched for the source. He quickly spotted a familiar warrior--Echostep. He hurried over to her, about to ask what happened.A B Y S S wrote:Echostep padded back to Pineclaws group panting and had deep wounds "the fox's gone" she smiled with a giggle.
Pineclaw stared at her, speechless. She looked badly hurt, and now she was...giggling? "You're hurt, and in shock." he said after a moment. "We need to get you to a medicine cat." He looked down at the blind cat---his apprentice. "Redpaw, go find one of the medicine cats." he ordered shortly, beginning to scan the camp for one himself.
