Gingerpaw shook her fur and moaned a but, her shoulder hurt and she was soar. "ch-cherryleaf"she began with a stutter "I really am sorry, I didn't know what to do"she said with watery eyes looking up at her mentor then flinched again in pain as her shoulder hurt still.

Songpaw layed still in her mentors jaws as Spiritblaze ran back to the camp to get help.

Mistypaw heard footsteps coming from the east and saw Spiritblaze, with Songpaw in his jaws and blood slowly poring down her face. Mistypaw know that the blood was coming from the same place as her scars. She tapped Redfern on his shoulder with her tail and pointed to Spiritblaze and Songpaw before she started to run up to them to find out what abined.

Pineclaw's eyes widened. His apprentice was blind? Was this some kind of joke? "What were you thinking, going out there alone?" he growled instead.

"I don't know, I just...I-I'm sorry" Redpaw stammered, lowering her head.

Cherryleaf hadn't left her apprentice's side as she nuzzled her gently, "Don't be it's alright. It was your first time out and no one would blame you. I haven't taught you how to defend and fight yet so it's fine." She reassured.

Duskpaw lifted his claw to try to land a strike onto Grinner as his eyes turned slightly glassy as he stared down at his dad with a mix of uncontrolled rage, anger, and hurt. Yet, he was too slow. The claw attack he moved down towards Grinner's face was met by another black paw, and the one left went straight into his wounds right side beginning. It burned when the claws dug into the skin, and it turned red by the sudden pain that flashed into his gaze as his dad only grinned slightly. He bit his tounge to stop a scream of pain, but a few tears fell from his already glassy eyes as Grinner pulled in forward so he could whisper into his right ear. "You weak my son. I wish you had a better heart, and weren't such an easy push-over. Your mother gave you that, and I wish I killed her sooner," he spoke with a light glow of his eyes, as he pushed him off with a back paw that sent in a bit airborne till his front claws met the ground to stop him only a few feet away. It only took seconds, but he yelled out in rage to all the mind-contected cats before launching his body towards the standing up Grinner to let his claws cut off a large bit of his left ear at his next attack. This time Grinner growled. In anger of his hurting ear, his dad threw back a claw swipe to land to against his neck in a slash and with a shove of his paw pushed him down onto the ground where his eyes closed un in his own blackness. The last he heard was Grinner thudding paws on the ground till he let the darkness take over from the next oncoming of pain in his side.

Afterwards:
Grinner was hurting in pain as he let his front paws rest on his son;'s belly where he tackled him. He never felt so much pain by his son, and to him he was quite shocked he would do such a thing to his own father yet was quite proud in his own way. He knew in seconds the clan surrounding the fight would be on him like a pack of dogs, and he quickly made up and excuse as soon as a second passed. He lifted his head to let his eyes rest on Eaglestar's eyes as he poke he next few words he hoped would keep him from begin killed on the spot. "If anyone comes closer, I will kill Duskpaw," he warned with his eyes glancing to everyone who watched the fight. he won't mind killing his still alive son, but would if he could live another day.

Stormkit

Stormkit nodded at the hearing of his words, but still somewhat confused to what he might be telling her since she was not in a clan for a while of her life. Her eyes followed his as she glanced over to the nursery where the other kits played, and for a moment she wished she didn't ask him to stay with her since it seemed he wanted to go play with the other kits that fought playfully with their mothers. She looked over with longing at the thought of having a mother. It seemed like a nice idea to ask one to adopt her, but she was too nervous to ask since they seemed to be busy with other kits that needed them. Of course, she could always wish she knew. Hearing Otterkit, her gaze went to him as he moved away to head over to the medicine den and peeked inside with his voice sounding against its dirt walls. She didn't want to say anything as she glanced over to Otterkit in slight nervousness.

Gingerpaw looked up from her paws to meet her mentor's eyes. "cherryleaf...I could have done something though...I-i was taught when I was smaller by my brother, well not really by blood but by heart. He took me under his wing, he made up a foxbrained idea to go go across the river when it was winter, it seemed safe and a good idea at first but when we were almost across the Ice began to crack
He pushed me back to safety but he fell in the water and I didn't see him come back up..."she paused and took a breath "if we didn't go out there he would still be here"
