He was looking around the camp, tired and very bored. Sighing he gazed at the younger tom Toadpelt which didn't sit do far for where he was "You look like a hungry owl looking for a prey" he joked to the tabby tom "So what is it? Nothing to do?" he asked, boredly.

She was rather bored, so she desiced to go to see what was going on with one of the sick cats. Seeing that the Stoatfur was speeking with Sparrowpaw she entered silently at the medicine cats den "Hello, Tansypaw, Are you feeling any better?" she meowed gently.

Brambleheart leaned heavily on her mate, and stumbled into camp. "My chest..." She tripped on something, and then her paws hurt as well. "Greenheart..." She looked at him helplessly, pain shining in her eyes. This can't just be symptoms of the kits, it has to be something else!

Toadpelt smiled wryly. "Yeah, I'm searching for an entertaining piece of prey to pounce on." He chuckled. "Naw, nothin' to do around here. I wish there was a patrol or something to join. Nothing ever happens!" Then he turned, and saw Brambleheart leaning heavily on her mate, obvious pain making her grimace. The brown Bengal tom nudged Nightleaf. "Hey! What's wrong with Brambleheart?"

Turning his gaze toward the she-cat, which walked next to her mate Greenheart "I don't know...maybe she is sick or..." he mewoed stopping for a while, noticing how fat the she cat was becomed "...or it's just..females problems" he continued, sitting down and landing his tail to his paws.

He growled and padded over to a patch of wild garlic. He didn't want to be near her. He didn't want to be near anybody... He rolled in it, the stench clogging his senses. His spine tingled as he stretched out, shaking off the pieces. With a sigh, he padded off in the opposite direction of the travelling cats, not wanting to be seen as he left his former home.

blinking open her eyes weakly, the siamese she cat sighed, her aching body reminding her of the reality she was living in. her paws were aching and her nose and eyes were wet and sticky again. she heard her brother enter the den again with stoatfur, but he seemed to be helping the medicine cat, so she just remained still. starclan please save me. she begged as she felt tears sting her eyes. she'd never been so scared of death.

"alright, great! let's go!" the warrior smiled before bounding away towards the border. she slowed as she neared it, raising her head and parting her jaws to scent the air. the scent of cats was weakening, and it worried her. cats were so preoccupied with the sickness that they weren't marking the farthest corners of the territory. "we should set a scent marker too." she turned to ashblaze, concern in her thyme green eyes. "cloudclan scent is worryingly stale."

He turned to look at the Brambleheart "...Because they're she-cats thats why..." he meowed, knowing that his words much to hear a little harsh, but he didn't know what to answer with that. It was ovious that Toadpelt was worried about his sister "Just hope that Owlcall and others find the cure to this rat epidemic" he meowed quielty.

She looked at the dark tom, waiting for answer, but when he did say anything. Sighing she knowed that the tom didn't want to talk with her, which wasen't very new to her. It seemed that her ways to get friends was wrong, so she sighed and walked away, leaving the tom alone.

Brambleheart's breath came out slightly laboured, and she coughed, spitting out blood. Her eyes widened in fear. "Greenheart..." She meowed uncertainly, drawing his attention the spot of blood and phlegm on the medicine den floor. The white Bengal she-cat couldn't focus on the chatting Stoarfur and Sparrowpaw, through the pain in her paws and belly.

The orange tabby tomkit poked his muzzle through a bush, scenting the air with half-parted jaws. His light green eyes flashed as a breeze went past, carrying the scent of cats. Friendly? Unfriendly..? Uncertainty glanced across his face. He poked his front paws from the bush, then his shoulders followed with the rest of his lithe body. Sagekit inwardly winced as he felt branches scrap against the skinless markings from his injury. His ears pricked at the call of a dove and his belly rumbled in response. Sagekit had managed to catch a few half-dead rodents before, but mostly relied on silver twoleg-traps for food. If he was lucky, sometimes they would have meat in them. If not, he would have to live with the crumbs off sticky wrappers. Flicking his tail, Sagekit steeled himself to try for the chirping bird. He lowered himself to the ground, his tail whisking behind him in a dangerous manner.
