Amberstripe walked around rethinking about her responsibilities. I can't just keep fooling around and flopping on my muzzle every time I hunt. I should stop acting like a kit playing warrior and mouse all day.
" Amberstripe?"
Skyblaze's voice made her snap out of her thoughts and back into reality. It also made her jump in surprise. "Oh!" she mewed "Sorry if I scared you. I need you to check on Ashkit. I'm going to find Cloudpelt."
"Are you sure Rookfur isn't available? I want to go hunting... alone."
"Oh. You're right. I should have asked her first." she mewed sadly
Amberstripe then quickly walked off sadly towards the forest.

Echowhisker padded out of the warrior's den, and just flopped back down in front, seeming just as comfortable as before, when he was in his burnt, crippled nest. He rested his head down on his paws and just watched the activity flowing around. (Open!)

Applestorm
Applestorm nodded to the leader before turning to the cats. "Cedarpaw? Can you and Sunrisewing come hunting with me if you aren't busy. We need the freshkill pile stocked up after the fire." He mewed before turning to the rest of the camp. "Cloudpelt? Can you gather some cats and start rebuilding the camp while I'm gone? When we come back we will help." He promised before turning back to Sunrisewing and Cedarpaw.

Fawnpaw
Fawnpaw patched up the she cats burns and scratches with the appropriate herbs before Cinderstar entered the den. "I think Cloudpelt said he found her near the border. He found her unconscious and brought her here." She mewed before adding. "I have tried to patch up her scratches and burns but I can't really help her internal injuries until she wakes up." The medicine cat apprentice meowed.

"Sure,"she replied, glancing at Cedarpaw then to the reddish tom. The early sunlight shone on her cream tabby's pelt, her blue eyes glistening. Sunrisewing looked down at the ground, shifting her paws.

"Let me know when she wakes up,"Cinderstar said. "I will decide what to do with her then,"she meowed, and exited the den. "Echowhisker?" She said, meeting the long-haired tom's gaze.

Cloudpelt - Male - Mood; Fine - Where; Camp - Tags; Skyblaze

"Good morning, Skyblaze,"Cloudpelt greeted his mate, giving her a small, warm smile. "I'm helping rebuild camp,"the black and white tom meowed.

Ashkit - Male - Mood; Happy - Where; Camp - Tags; Skyblaze

The small black and white tom bounded out of the nursery. "Mommy!" He squealed, making his way over to the pure white she-cat.

Echowhisker looked up to meet the leader's gaze, and immediately got up, and then sat back down. "Yes, Cinderstar?" He asked, with a yawn, and a flick of his overly fluffy tail.

" Oh!" mewed Skyblaze " I might be able to help, Cloudpelt, But I can't find anyone to take care of Ashkit."

Amberstripe walked with her tail dragging making some of her tail look black. The scent of the scorched forest almost completely blocked the scent of any prey in the area. Maybe I should just go back and take care of Ashkit.She thought again carefully. No, Amberstripe. Remember what you told yourself earlier. She kept trotting along until she saw a place with a lot of grass growing around it. Perfect. I should hunt here. She didn't smell any prey.

"Help me rebuild camp. "Let's start with the nursery,"she meowed, her tail flicking at the singed den. Charred sticks layed over like dead prey, and a rock roofed the nursery shakily. The grayish she-cat picked up a long stick in her jaws and started collecting the thickest twigs she could find.

"It's alright. You shouldn't stay in the nursery, I don't want it to collapse with you inside,"he said, giving her an affectionate look in his yellow eyes. The long-haired tom padded over to the nursery and helped collect large sticks and rocks.

(blarghhh sorry, it was a typo cause i thought it said cinderstar. one of my characters is a leader in my fanfics that i write.)

Echowisker nodded, and got up with a stiff crack of his joints, and a relieved sigh. He padded over to the nursery to inspect the damage. He started grabbing singed moss with his paws, and scraping them into a pile.

She placed the stickes over the rock, putting some under and putting some over. Cinderstar quickly plastered it with the dry soil, and it dropped to the ground. She parted the dry dirt into pieces and it stuck on a little better. She picked up the long stick she found and propped it up under the unsteady rock roofing the nursery. The old she-cat started to collect more sticks.
