The tabby tom had just been exiting the nursery when a strange scent caught his attention and he looked up to see an unfamiliar she-cat standing at the entrance of the camp along with the hunting patrol he had sent out earlier in the morning. He eyed Bravefang curiously as the tom approached him and the moment he was within earshot, Fogstar questioned, "Bravefang, what is going on? Please explain everything from the start." This was the second cat that had been brought into the camp today and anymore would compromise the location.

Bored, he watches the hoard of apprentice gathered talking about what not. It made him wonder if Bramblepaw had anything to learn from patrolling with a bunch of silly cats who only focused on work. Deviant away from the main course, it was more fun that way with mistakes to be made. Messing up was the only true way to learn, at least learn a good lesson.

After stalking the backyard of a twoleg nest, her hunt finally paid off with a fat robin between her jaws. Her tail held high as she settled down in the shade to eat, her stomach desperate for even a sliver of meat. Hunting alone was still strange to her as a pack of cats usually worked together to bring down larger prey like hawks and falcons, using younger cats to draw the prey in for the final blow. Ah how the days flew by then, and how slowly they lingered on now without her folk.
