Melodystar flicked her ears and touched noses with smokefeather. "I need to speak to him." She murmured. "Thank you for coming. I love you." She purred, before leaping down the tree and trotting into the warriors den. "Sleetwings? Would you like to go for a walk to the river?" She meowed.

Turnipwhisker watched the two from a thorn/bracken bush in the undergrowth, listening to every word they had to say. When he heard them say "mate" he froze in horror. He felt as if he wanted to bowl over Thunderstrike right now, and that was what he would do. He trotted out of the undergrowth. Though he had no claws or teeth, he would still fight for the right to love Sunheart. He leaped at Thunderstrike, bowling him over as he batted at the other's muzzle to surprise him. "Take that, She-cat Stealer!" He snarled in a whisper to Him.

Melodystar looked at Sleetwings sadly. "I'm sorry- I just don't.. Love you. Friends?" She meowed, giving a helpless and pleading look to the tom.
