Clan Of The Skies ~New and Accepting~

Fangheart

As I carefully did a full search in the grassy clumps, I spotted a slightly red furry tail. Instantly dropping into a hunters crouch I started to swiftly move towards my target. Once I was within pouncing range and had cornered it against a rockface, I leaped letting out a little battle cry. At the same time, panicking a bird that flew in my face. The bird began to frantically claw at my ear but I quickly latched my claw on its belly and brought it down in the air. It was quite the struggle, but the bird didn't really give me marks. As I landed the squirrel charged at me and ran under my legs running through the undergrowth. I scowled with the bird held tightly in my jaws and gave chase. I was gaining on the squirrel, but the bird was quickly adding weight to my exhaustion. I gently dropped it in a clump of ferns and quickly dashed. The squirrel was nearing the tree, and I knew I wouldn't make it at this pace so using all my strength, I threw myself onto the trunk of the squirrels home and pinned it against the trunk. I quickly bit at the neck killing it instantly and silently thanked Starclan for the precious prey to feed the clan. Retracing my steps I collected the bird and silently padded back to camp with prey in jaws.

Brightstar felt the sadness fladh jer pelt. She looked at the she-cat woth warm caring eyes as a mother would do with her kit.
"Whats wrong?" she mewed soothingly.

Tigerpaw blushed slightly. He looked up at Riverpaw with a charming smile.
"How are you?" he meowed.

"I just miss my clan," Stormheart meowed. "The cats their noticed me, here they just pass me," She meowed.

She sighed softly as he seemed to be thinking and most likely regretting ever telling her to follow him. She silently looked about her as they passed farther into the heart of the territory, she would have to get used to the path in which they took if she was accepted into the clan, she was actually hoping to ask if she may join.'

He kept padding along, seeing that the entrance to camp wasn't very far away. He was silent the whole way there, not saying a word. His stalk had stopped though now he was just padding normally. His strokes were pretty fast but steady as he stepped over twigs and rocks.

With a wince she picked up her pace to keep just behind him, she took note of the area and where the entrance of this particular camp was, she didn't want to forget it if she became part of the clan life. '

MINT

Mint finally stopped half way to the leader's den, her eyes roaming over the other cats and the dwellings where they slept and were a family. She felt suddenly wary, she knew she was in their home and at any moment could chase her out within moments, she padded more slowly this time towards Badgertail '

I dropped my fresh kill down on the pile and picked out a mouse for myself. Quietly padding to the shade and watched the clan as I ate.
